Ending off 2024 as a LoRA creator...
Hello and Happy New Year to you!
Just writing another article just to sum up the year after being introduced to AI, then CivitAI, then somehow stumbling to becoming a LoRA creator.
Always thought it was too difficult so I never bothered until I actually poked around and then got hooked onto it.
Chances are if you're reading this, it's because you followed me because of one of my LoRAs. For that, thank you for following my journey so far!
Anyway this article is a quick sum up of my journey ever since I started creating my first LoRA on the 26th August which was Agape here. After starting creating a few OCs, I started and finished the entire Wings of Fire series then everything just took off from there.
So here's some quick statistics of my journey so I can keep track myself too:
The Statistics
Days as a LoRA creator: 129 days
Model Likes: ~2.5k
Model Downloads: ~10.4k
Model Generations: ~161.3k
LoRAs created till date: About 89 published, probably unpublished about 2-3 which were my first few LoRAs that I didn't like anymore. Includes updates to some LoRAs with v2 or v3 too.
Most Generated LoRA: Sisu (Raya and the Last Dragon) (Someone REALLY loves Sisu as you can see in the gallery lol)
Most liked LoRA: Lifts-Her-Tail/Lusty Argonian Maid (The Elder Scrolls) (Well, guess people are really horny for her. Oh, I actually created another Argonian before writing this...)
Series that I've worked on: Wings of Fire, Warcraft, My Little Pony, Angels with Scaly Wings, HTTYD, Dragonheart (I definitely touched on more, but I only include the ones that I created at least 3 or more character of that same series)
What I'm Continuing in 2025
Still definitely continuing my journey of being a LoRA creator but i'll vary my pace according to the time I have.
I recently took a long break in December as I was traveling quite a lot on holidays which was a pretty good break for me. (Fun fact, had a really bad sunburn during my trip even after applying sun block so that wasn't too fun)
After which, I just returned about 2 weeks back and resumed my LoRA making just about two weeks back.
Here's what I created after I came back:
Lorem (Angels with Scaly WIngs) - Planning to finish off with Maverick and done with the series until AWSW 2 comes out.
Haku (Spirited Away) - Actually a 2nd version. Still not happy with the AI generating his whiskers 'anyhow' or multiple whiskers. But i'll leave it here for now
Peril (Wings of Fire) - Update to Skywings LoRA after the recent Graphic Novel dropped, so Peril lovers rejoice!
Tayanna - Furromantic (Warhammer) - Been starting to create more of Furromantic's model since I kinda like them personally
Sebastian (Angels with Scaly Wings) - Same with what I mentioned with Lorem
Azlyn - Just some OC that I kinda liked so just created it on a whim.
Sah-ra - Furromantic (The Elder Scrolls) - Another Furromantic model, and I realized I just made Lusty Argonian Maid v2 while testing my model lol.
In any case, the best pace I'll keep is at least 2 to 3 LoRAs per week so any more than this is a bonus.
While primary focusing on Dragons and Scalies, I might make others from time to time as well. Still going with the 'making what I feel like making' route, while following some suggestions here and there.
Something others I might start is creating models for Illustrious (Been looking into it a bit) and more but I'll definitely need to test it out first. If this is something you're looking forward, let me know in the comments so I know the demand for this at least before I start.

In case you don't know, I just want to mention as well that I wrote a long ass article on how I personally train my LoRAs on CivitAI which you can click here to go read it if you're interested (Spoilers: It's not that hard, CivitAI does all the heavy lifting really)
My stance is still the same regarding 'competition': I wrote about someone accusing me of creating a LoRA that he/she already created for. Personally for me, I don't care if you create another character LoRA that I've already created and in fact welcome it if you do. That is why I wrote the article in the first place so more people can join in the fun of creating LoRAs.
Besides, I'm very open with everything with I do. That's why you can see my entire process, all my prompts, etc. After all, I don't claim anything or any characters as my own except the effort I put in to create the LoRAs.
But if you're lazy to create a LoRA and want to see something made... I'm still open for commissions so just drop me a PM. This would be the fastest way if you want to see something specific made by me.
But to end this article off... guess one of my next milestone would be hitting 1000 followers so definitely looking forward to that.
Oh and one more thing.. I'm working on a 'large project' concept LoRA which I might release in the next 1-2 weeks. Something very new that I'm trying but something I've wanted to try for a really long time now. Stay tuned for that!
