Introduction

Hey there, since deciding to return out of being an absolute meme chicken -- let's go through a healthy FAQ of what's up. Remember kids: Respect goes a long way, and if you fight like biblical monsters in the comments, I get the popcorn.

Section One: Generation Enabled Content

Q1: Virtual Diffusion: Why can I not generate with any of the Virtual Diffusion Pony XL checkpoints on the generator?

A1: Because of my generous attempt to leave, and find other lacklustre opportunities, I lost my "place" on an already crowded generation system.

Q2: Virtual Diffusion Illustrious XL on the Generator?

A2: I unpublished 800+ models, because I was taking a stand - poorly or otherwise the impact, I knew it would no longer allow for generation of my content. I don't like how the generator works, and never really have. It's very slow, and it doesn't produce things you'd find to be aesthetically pleasing 90% of the time, even with the highest of buzz costs. - Worst off to use a Lora the other day it was going to take an hour on the generator.

Section Two: Embeddings

Q1: XYZ Pony XL Embedding

A1: they're coming back. You're fine, stop panicking, lol.

Q2: XYZ SD 1.5 Embeddings that i used on pony XL, SDXL and Illustrious
A2: ...... plugs ears and listens to happy music

A3: They're coming back. XD

Q4: XYZ Illustrious Embeddings (That Anzch still wants to choke me for lovingly lol)

Section Four: The future

Answer: I dunno, this isn't something I feel comfortable talking about on civitai anymore. The new system's a scam, so I won't support it. But in order to not get in trouble with the staff, that's literally just from me, i don't have "PROOF" it's a scam - i'm not here to lead you astray..

But if someone with 9.8 Milllion "SOCIAL SCORE" on here can't make enough to sustain training models and providing a service, how do you think others are lol.

In short: I am no longer a paid creator on this site, I am providing YOU the user a service, in the easiest accessible format. However, this opens me up to being able to have stuff available wherever i'm allowed.

SeaArt has my stuff, yes they've "SCRAPED" and yes there's like no use sending myself to the ER to try and earn on their platform lol.. Last month's payout was 50 cents, and that won't even cover 2 years worth of staring at their site lol.

Moescape's users HAVE brought my content over, and that's valid - i've reclaimed it, and i've actually put more exclusive models back up there - because I've always liked their generator for the most part.

Shakker, i'm sorry dudes, i'll probably try it now i have my stuff published on Civitai again, but damn your uploader's slow.

Tenso.... Yea no, unless Sawoo wants to come back and apologize for literally stalking me for 2-4 months after I quit their site AFTER finding underage content on their service-- and being berated by users in 2023.... And wants to provide a payment service OTHER than bank accounts because i'm not giving someone my BSB/Swift code lol.

If you're neurodivergent or plural, or have disabilities the AI sphere is incredibly difficult to shape safe spaces around, it's not JUST civitai. I'll always fight for space, and accessibility, but when a site's not riding by the profits and is more riding by someone else's purse strings...

And i'm not saying that to be mean to Civitai per se..
It's just the way 21st century companies work.
