Featured images and buzz beggars

Is it just me or are the same featured images constantly hogging up main page. The picture I've attached I personally have seen at least 20-30 times over the course of a week. And I have no idea why it has so many likes. Probably people trying to get blue buzz conveniently. I see this happened time and time again. Nothing against the artist of this image I posted, but I think we can all agree that mediocre images constantly hog the space on the featured image page. Many of the lesser-known creators that I followed create art far greater than the ones they cherry pick and put on the feature page. Not only that but the lack of variety is disheartening, And they stay on there for weeks at a time. How about featuring some of the lesser known artists from time to time? Am I alone in this opinion? Oh and don't get me started on the buzz beggar board. I have submitted multiple images over the course of the last year and not once has any of them made the buzz page. I'm just over it. I'm not saying I'm some great prodigy but I'm not terrible either. Just sick and tired of the high ranking creators getting all the spotlights.
