Suburb Liminal Contest Winners
The display image is from the user NotSure, and I consider that one to be one of the very best indoor. I want to shore up those numbers for the next version. The empty feel and the environment around it deserves to be a showcase image. Powerful stuff.
First off, thank you everyone for your contributions. This thing had a big response and I am doing my best to be as respectful and gracious to the submitted artwork; along with providing analysis and representation for them in a helpful fashion.

The Top TEN (I couldn't pick just 5): They are also not in any particular order, they are all very good. Each of the entrants who were selected as potentials have been catalogued and the awards issued 2k buzz per awarded per accepted image. Which were about 100 or so images.
Next contest is going to be INDOOR SUBURBS due to the lack of indoor suburbs overall in the relational aspects I was hoping to achieve. Many of them were opulent but not simplistic, or overly complex instead of simple in places that only required minimalism.

The off-center nature of this image makes the suburban housing the center focus of the main image complexity. The concept follows the liminal nature perfectly and even has a vanishing point in the distance that I'll blob using gaussian for training.

The dark and foggy nature of this image perfectly showcases indirect attention drawing. The area around the mailbox will need to be inpainted a bit for training, but it's a damn fine representation of the goal.

Another representative birds-eye style showcase of uniform housing. This one is chosen particularly for it's symmetrical and yet dissonant nature. Each house is a a bit mirrored, and yet each house is not; like they're each given a bit of a human touch, and yet they look off. Like, wrong in a good kind of humanistic way. Disorienting and yet... fits with the liminal nature. This one almost won.
However NUMBER ONE.

This image perfectly depicts the sort of abstract and unique relational context association that I really enjoy. It keeps relational and spatial uniformity while introducing the feeling of liminal expression and interesting complexity.
Hits all the right notes for me.
I don't have time this morning to give individual reviews of each, but they are good.
