Which type of article actually gets read reliably? apropriate for bug warning?

I just posted an article warning about an expensive site bug, affecting on-site gen. Which fits into categories "news / announcement / generation guide / musing", at least.

And oddly enough, there's no option titled "read this article if you're genning on-site and don't wanna lose lotsa time and buzz".

So I figured I should post in the category most effective for getting the warning out. But, which one is that? is there any that gets read more reliably than others?

I'd guess if I post under "data prep" or "MI research" I'd get the least views, and it seems like "story" gets the most. So I probably should've made an erotic comic about it. Ah well, maybe next time.
