Posting Best Practices and Current Frustrations

My Frustrations
I've heard other creators mention that there is currently an issue with the Images feed and lately I've become rather frustrated myself. If I do a post of 20 images I'll usually get at a minimum 100+ reactions. I've had a few posts lately that I was lucky if I broke double digits or after a day received a single reaction. I've found myself lately deleting posts and trying to repost them at another time. I assume this is just another system issue like when Notifications were all messed up.
I eventually created a shadow account so that whenever I post content I can see what my followers see. I've begun noticing that my posted content is visible if I visit my creator homepage, but my recent images just don't appear in the image feed for my shadow account.
My Questions
Are the issues I'm experiencing systemic across the platform for all creators, or am I just 'lucky'?
Have people found some sort of tricks or best practices in order to get the best results when it comes to making posts?
Have creators noticed a more ideal time for posting content? Since we're a global community I always assumed that there is a steady stream of users, but I didn't know if anyone found an optimal time where the system is less fickle and/or there tends to be better engagement from others.
For Example
For a while I noticed that while I posted my content, it could take a while before it showed up in the image feed. I believe it was explained that the delay was due to the system reviewing the metadata of the uploaded images. One piece of advice I came across suggested that before posting your content make sure all the images have been rated and tagged. Then schedule the posting of the content with a 15 minute delay. It was explained this should provide extra time for the images to be properly indexed and when I tested it my images would always land at the top of the feed.
Thanks
I'd appreciate any and all advice or observations folks feel willing to share in the comments section
