F I V E T H O U S A N D
Whaddahek? Mates this was going to be my 4K thanks, then over the week you blast me past 5k follows.
Engagement has been rising and rising, getting to meet and chat with so many new people has been so cool, too.
I joined back in only *January of this year* and I've loved supporting and trying to bring as much of myself and my focus on community to Civit as I possibly can—despite any hardships that have happened; everyone from staff to small and large creators to even just people enjoying works have been amazing to meet and engage with and I'm so happy you all enjoy my works.
So that out of the way there's a few things I wanna mention!
One: stories, wheeeeerree they been? Well, I've been in kinda a strange spot with them. NEXUS-09 is the one I'm most focused on atm—however I've made a decision that's gonna mean I need a bit more time on Vol-02, and haven't decided on if it'll require a delay and potentially taking down/rewrite of the current KYAASH stories that didn't do well anyway. Essentially, I'm going to do a full remaster of Volume-1 of NEXUS-09. And release it alongside Volume-2 (maybe as a mega post maybe as two separate ones), so much changed with the depth of characters and my way of telling the story that I feel I need to both condense some parts (technical terms, etc) and expand on others, potentially remove entire parts slow the pace of Vol-1 considerably. But, it's a somewhat slower process since it's a genre I'm not as comfortable with as I am with fantasy.
And that leads into the next thing!
Community stuffs, support, etc,
The Cult of Gremmy Discord! This is my community Discord that serves two purposes. Both a place to support me financially (I have a server sub and occasionally put some things in the shop section, it's also a way to see what I'm working on and my drafting process) but more importantly it's a place I explicitly want to be a creative space—a very positive and community focused place to get to know one another and express your creativity in any number of ways. It's been an awesome way to get to know so many awesome people and it's just an incredibly positive community and experience.
I've also begun posting on DeviantArt in the last month or two—though I post fewer, and generally what I would consider my 'higher quality' (relatively) things and none of the "in jokes" (i.e. axototl jawa image from earlier this month) I would post on Civit. If you want a more curated version of my uploads, it's a pretty good way to get that!
And one final thing:
Avarice succesor:
I've had it on the Avarice page for a while—however I recently made the decision there will not be an Avarice 2.0.
hold on, hold on. Instead, Avarice's successor is going to be a Checkpoint merge. I can't promise when or what exactly form it will take—just that it is being worked on. I think I've tuned the lora about as well as I can and all of its versions have good reasons to use it, Languor also has a very unique niche to it. So this will be a new, interesting way to utilize what I did with Avarice's style and approach. Keep an eye out.
So with all that said once again, thanks everyone. Your support and engagement with my works means the world and I've grown to adore this community and the community focused direction of Civit, and I hope to be able to continue on this platform for the long term ^.^ <3
