yet another article bitching about yet another bad site update

It was fun while it lasted. Or was it? I guess I had fun. Typing things in, see how the machine would respond to it. being narcotized by potentially endless amounts of slightly off, slightly uncanny images and remixes of what i like and wanted more of. Laughing at when the machine gave characters three arms and ignored my prompt. It was fun tinkering with the engines, even if my consumption of it was sleazy and drenched in irony. I somehow despite my efforts eventually made it to nearly one thousand and one hundred followers (1,083 by my last glance at the count). But entropy or the process often deemed "enshittification" consumes everything. It's easy to blame the seemingly incompetent management team at civitai, or late stage capital being coopted by Karens. Maybe it's all of the above. For the past couple of months I've been floating the idea of dumping my buzz in a massive genning spree and leaving because I think I've genned enough of what i want and the machine as of now can't truly replicate what I envision in my minds eye. These recent events have pushed that idea further to the forefront, though severely hampered. Of course this entire process would not affect me in the slightest if i had one of three changes; if i was less of a stale pervert and actually devoted myself to sfw generations, if i had a good enough machine and enough storage space to generate locally or finally if i had any comptency with actual drawing. maybe i'll pick up that pencil, or buy a hard drive to store all my favorite loras and checkpoints for the rainy day of when i can afford a top of the line graphics card or maybe i'll just quit and move on to the next fad. whatever. let the site burn. thank you for all the support.
