Ain't Going Nowhere.
Today's announcement by the CivitAi staff was a very self-congratulating, condescending, clueless gigantic double-barrel buckshot straight into both of their own feet which they WILL be feeling the ramifications of in the immediate future, if not sooner.
That being said, I have no plans of jumping ship anytime soon. I've put a lot of time and effort into this operation, and it's honestly been one of the best experiences I've had in ages online. All of you, the people who follow and react and collect and comment to my content, have made me feel more appreciated and loved than in any other endeavor I've tried to do this last decade, and it had completely revitalized and breathed new life into my creativity. Not only that, but I've made some incredibly wonderful friends here, and I couldn't be any more grateful for all the support and enthusiasm that they and you have given me this past year.
The new development with CivitAi's buzz policy is more than disappointing, but it was also most likely an inevitability in this day and age. I've seen it happen to numerous other websites in the past that were held up as a Promised Land for adult content: DeviantArt, SheezyArt, Fanfiction.net, Tumblr, etc.
I'm not honestly all that surprised by their sheer hubris, but that doesn't take the sting out any less. We will all ride out this storm out, and eventually another fresh, new port will shine a beacon for the community that will hopefully last at least a good long while before it's own inevitable collapse. And then the cycle will continue.
But that's what we do, and that's who we are: we're survivors. We're the pests that won't die off. We're the pesky little roaches that no one can stamp out, no matter how big the boot. We will always come back and set up our deviant, sexy little dirty hive of carnal delights no matter what, and that's our spirit that will never be crushed.
As for myself, I will be sticking around, like I said. I've got a VERY sizable stockpile of yellow buzz on my hands, more than enough to keep me going until they just decide to tear the entire site down. I've always been in it for the game, honestly, and I'll continue to be.
Don't worry though, I'm not intending to just latch onto this place like a barnacle. There's plenty of other sites and servers that I've already set up shop and will be starting to focus more energy on soon. Quite frankly though, shitty content policies aside, I've been having too much fun with this place.
I hope to see everyone still around to enjoy what I will continue to put out for your erotic enjoyment. You've all made me feel like a million bucks, and I want to keep giving you that same value.
