Frustrating Buzz Changes Oct'25
This is as titled, frustrating.
TL:DR - at least limit the buy-in for NSFW to say 5 Yellow Buzz in any generation project and let people keep paying the rest of the cost with Blue Buzz.
Axing the posting of real people, was entirely understandable. But that s about it, when it comes to ... supporting the sites changes.
As it stands, i would have to pay over 600 Yellow Buzz for 1 ... in words ONE ... video. There is no way for me to make that Buzz back in Reaction&Collection rewards. Even IF that would or will be possible in the future. (Currently Buzz earning for Yellow and Green are both locked.)
CivitAi, this will not lead to a healthier Buzz Economy, but to a collapse too small to support even site hosting.
Just as with FLUX, there is no point in spending thousands of (anycolour) Buzz for pics and videos, which by default have no chance of recouping that expenditure.
Make NSFW a Yellow Buzz Toggle - just like Draft Mode or Experimental Mode.
Adding an aditional Yellow Buzz cost for "unlocking" NSFW capabilites, while letting the generation cost remain primarily Blue Buzz (including varitations, upsacale, etc.), could keep the platform active. Let the specific NSFW cost range between 5 and 100 yellow buzz per generation

People will still grumble over that change, but at least it s stomachable in context. People might even be willing to spend more Yellow Buzz this way.
All you re doing now, is ferrying the Yellow Buzz Money, you get now, from your pockets over to Runpod or Goggle Colab. CivitAI you will Loose Money with your current change.
This will be as horrible a change as the "we will allow all models/checkpoints to be used for generation on site"-update, which in efect did lead to every checkpoint being locked behind the biding system.
In consequence, Dreamshaper is the ONLY SD1.5 available checkpoint. Others, if ever, blip for maybe a day into existence.
I m not "whining and whinging" here for being unable to AI-gen debaucheries on-site. But even everyday fashion photography is now largely locked from generation. ... while posted as commercials all over REAL Life locations. AFAIK nobody has tried to defund Paris and its fashion hostings or companies.
But the payment processor ... well, for crying out loud, TWITCH with its ASMR and Pool-section is supported with credit card processors.
Content which couldnt be mimiced by your on-site generators any longer.
In conclusion, this ... is ... bad.
If the things stay as this update dictates,
the site will only be for model hosting from here on out.
Such a shame.
