TL;DR I can now local gen. NSFW content but don't expect consistent daily up load.
OHHHH man, what a rollercoaster of a update to CivitAI that was, with them disabling blue buzz NSFW on-site gen. I guess, all I needed was a little push to do local generation instead of relying on on-site gen. After having some time to really sit down and learn how to properly install/set up ComfyUI, I got it working again. Also, I went to a local seller's ad and picked up a used hard drive for more space for downloading checkpoints and loras.
I can now do NSFW generations again. For now, text2image NSFW. I used to know image2video on Wan 2.1 (I deleted old ComfyUI since I somehow bricked it during my hiatus working). Now, they came out with Wan 2.2 so the workflow I usually use for it doesn't work for 2.2. I will have to find/learn a 2.2 workflow later.
BUUUT, still don't get your hopes up too much because:
IRL job comes 1st. Generating AI art to goon to is just a hobby.
If I use my PC for work, I can't be running generations. It's a distraction and uses my GPU/RAM too much.
I like to game on my time off. Can't run gens. while gaming.
I travel. CivitAI's on-site gens. was something I rely on to make NSFW stuff while traveling, now disabled.
Because of things listed above, I won't be able to do consistent daily up load. In fact, I'm telling you now, I will be busy playing Arc Raiders with the boys when it comes out Oct 30 AAAANNND juggling work too for the month. However, I do generate a lot when I have the chance and WILL put things up in posting queue.
And before you leave. Can you go to https://civitai.com/posts/23902429 and vote what checkpoints/styles you like or what checkpoints/styles you'd like for me to checkout. I like to do realistic-ish style but it can't hurt to try other styles or have one in my back pocket.
