Hey everyone,
Welcome to week six of Share Some Love 💖
First of all, another huge thank you to everyone who keeps participating.
I still really enjoy going through the gallery and seeing how many kind, funny and genuinely thoughtful comments are being written. People are not just dropping their own images and disappearing again. You are actually looking at other people's work, leaving feedback and starting little conversations.
That is exactly what I hoped this would become.
Looking for a Few Contributors (NEW)
I would like to bring a little more variety into the gallery and could use some help with that.
Civitai recently introduced Collab Collections, which makes it possible to build and manage collections together with selected people:

I am especially looking for people who are familiar with semi-realistic artwork and anime styles.
Those are areas where I simply do not know the scene as well, so I am pretty sure I am overlooking a lot of great work that deserves some attention.
The idea would be to start with around 2 or 3 contributors.
Whenever you have the time and feel like it, you could pick roughly 2 to 5 images per day that you think would be a good fit for Share Some Love.
There is no pressure to do this every day. This should stay fun and casual.
While I am currently especially interested in bringing more other styles into the gallery, you are definitely not limited to those styles. Feel free to pick anything you like, regardless of style, model, medium or genre. Variety is very welcome.
I would add the selected images to the gallery and handle the Buzz as usual.
If the idea works well, I can imagine expanding the contributor group later.
The goal is simply to bring more variety into the gallery, discover creators and styles I might otherwise miss, and make Share Some Love a little less dependent on what happens to cross my own feed.

How It Works
The concept starts fresh every Monday.
For each weekly article, every user may submit:
One image created by you
One image created by another user
That means two images in total per user and per week.
Please leave a short comment or description for both images. Tell us what caught your attention, what you enjoy about the style, lighting, composition or idea, or simply leave a few nice words for the creator.
You definitely do not need to write a novel.
You are also very welcome to comment on other submissions. The more interaction, support and friendly chaos, the better. :D
Once the next weekly article is published, everyone can participate again with two new images.
Please remember that the gallery automatically sorts images by age, so older submissions will eventually move down.
What Can Be Submitted?
Pretty much everything.
All checkpoints, models, styles and types of artwork are welcome.
PG to XXX is fine as long as everything follows the Civitai Terms of Service.
I only reserve the right not to include extremely low quality submissions or content involving clearly problematic topics.
So far, this has worked surprisingly well, and I would love to keep it that way.
Be creative, be respectful and maybe leave a comment on something you normally would have just scrolled past.
Sometimes a few nice words make a much bigger difference than people realize.

The amount of Buzz people have contributed by now is slightly ridiculous in the best possible way.
It gives me a lot more freedom to reward cool images, nice comments and people who actively support other creators.
And yes, I fully intend to keep redistributing it. ;)
Ideas Are Always Welcome
Share Some Love is still a community project, so ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
If you think something could be organized better, made more fun or simply changed a little, feel free to tell me.
You are also welcome to send me an image by DM, either your own or something you discovered from another creator.

PS: Week six already. At this point I think we can safely stop pretending this is just a little experiment. :D
PPS: I may be a little less active for a while because I was given the opportunity to take part in, and work closely on, a pretty big project outside of Civitai. But do not worry, Share Some Love will continue with the same care and love, simply within the time I have available.
PPPS: I’m really proud of the community here, and I like to think this gallery (may or may not) has helped a few great images get featured that might otherwise have been overlooked.
