FAQs, Thoughts, Tips & Tricks
Hello everyone. I hope you are enjoying the videos and thanks for dropping by.
I'll answer some common questions I've received through direct messaging below. I may direct you to this article if you message me with such questions.
Below the FAQ section, I've written some thoughts regarding content generation which may be useful for you.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What happened to your posts / videos?
I've recently deleted all my old posts and videos. The reasons for this are related to content and site moderation.
My past videos have been mostly shorter videos with a special emphasis on looping. In this new era of video generation with Minimax H3 (MH3), I will no longer be making looping videos as this is no longer interesting from an artistic or technical point of view. Given the story telling potential of MH3, the looping constraint is too limiting.
Moderation on this site has shifted to become more strict. I also speculate that an account with more subscribers and higher visibility is inevitably moderated more harshly than new accounts.
Unfortunately, I was starting to get TOS violations and even strikes on my older videos. I have even received a strike on a video I posted nearly 6 months ago. So part of the reason for wiping my content was to protect this account from further violations.
If you were hoping to view some of my past content and were disappointed to see that it is gone - I apologize and hopefully the above reasons makes sense.
Let me know if there are any specific kind of content or themes you enjoyed from my prior uploads, and I can think of ways to explore this with MH3. It will most likely not be short looping content, as again - I do not think that kind of video is interesting anymore, neither to create nor to consume.
Can you share your workflow?
My personal workflow depends on multiple bespoke custom nodes and parameters specific to my machine. Therefore, there is no possibility they will run on another system without significant modification.
With the popularity of MH3, there has been a plethora of quality workflows shared on this site. I would encourage you to search for the latest and most popular workflows on this site. Even the built-in Comfy template workflow works reasonably well.
Would you be interested in paid work for content creation or workflow design?
Sorry but I do this strictly for fun and stress relief. I will decline all offers for paid work. I would reach out to the many other talented creators on this site.
Thoughts, Tips & Tricks:
Minimax H3:
What can I say? It looks like the true successor to Wan 2.2 has arrived. With few exceptions, it has both LTX and Wan beat in all categories of performance. Good news is that it is still early days and it is getting better. Looking forward to better LoRAs, fine-tunes and techniques.
I'm really enjoying seeing all the new creators make really interesting content. Unlike LTX and more similar to Wan, Minimax really tries to adhere to your prompt and can be pushed to do some interesting things.
