Weekly CivitAI changelog dicussion thread, September 25

I'm late but so are they.
So let's see about a few things that caught my eye:
Image search is down "for maintenance": I was surprised to see that people even use image search at all, because last time I tried it, it was so bad it didn't really find anything recent ever. Either it got better in the interim or people never realized how badly it worked.
Paidmodel loading: Out now, but there's a whole shitstorm about that. I quite like the system, but it seems to have some bugs (shocking, I know).Paid filter in the resource picker: This just completes the set, same caveats apply
Ming Image Design: Another one of these "design and layout" models that I don't really need AI for, but unlike Ideogram it doesn't come with a "just btw this is censored to the point of uselessness" warning and unlike Reve is also really cheap. So maybe worth messing around with.
Training studio: Also has a dedicated shitstorm, and this one didn't go down so well. It's a good idea, but it's so severly feature-limited calling it a beta seems generous.
More moderation settings: I guess, but man these are becoming extraordinarily complicated.
Your likes are now visible: I don't think it's a huge deal, but I do think it's a terrible idea.
Follow back: I's good that a profile now shows you whether someone follows you at all. Except it doesn't show you that if you already follow them, so it's still meh.
Storage analytics: A very weird inclusion, but it's neat trivia, I guess.
Double post limit for members: I was shocked to learn that there even was a limit. Even the very lowest rung is so huge (50 posts/day iirc) you're probably never going to hit it.
Comfy metadata for video: Fucking FINALLY. I don't do video much, but oh boy must that have sucked before.
Appeals could be pending forever: I never hit this but man that sure seems like a CivitAI bug if I've ever seen one.
Changing search type no longer blanks the text: Oh god, that was so annoying. Thank you.
Unannounced changes:
The remix provenance saga ended. Well, sort of. As it turns out, the rules for it are so harsh they're basically useless and you almost HAVE to know about them to get anything recognized.
Images post instantly now and have done so for a while (and galleries also no longer time out on me all the time). This probably means that their search backend is no longer turbo broken in a million ways. This may be literally the best change ever.
