Civit is sinking, technically

There have been technical problems with the site as far as I remember, although mostly related to generation being off often. Now it's more constant and unrelenting bugs that remain unfixed. The technical debt is piling up and the dev team gets more and more under. It feels like the ship is very slowly but very surely sinking. I think it comes partially from over-reliance on Javascript, which comes down to insisting on being fancy while being unable to handle the shitshow.
