I don't know. I checked in WAI with SYIN and without it. And there's like no difference. No more comments, and the gallery is too different to know what exactly I should expect from this. Can some more detailed answer what it does?
No matter where I put these, comfy cannot find the embedding

Don't we just plop them into ../models/embeddings/ and then use the trigger word in the Negative or Positive prompt?

Excellent Embeddings. I use FORGE and have utilized both positive and negative Embeddings with models such as:
novaFurryXL,
illustrij,
waiNSFWIllustrious_v15,
waiNSFWIllustrious_v14.
In all the models, the Embeddings produced outstanding results. Across all the models, the images come out similar to the semi-realistic tag, but much higher quality and more visually pleasing. The results vary slightly between models, but overall, they are wonderful. To achieve a similar level of quality, I usually need to include more than 20 tags in each Prompt, which adds extra strain on the model. Moreover, not all tags are always interpreted correctly by the model.

what are embeddings and are they necessary?
Okay, in very select circumstances. Useless for me most of the time, since I very rarely want the subject facing straight forward and staring directly at the viewer.
It's not bad, but doesn't meet my needs. Would've been nice if the description was a bit more...descriptive.
