Let me explain, this is a result of combining 2 LORAs, one is your PC98 style LORA, the other is a character from an actual PC9801 title called Ningyou Tsukai (Puppet Master in Japanese language).
The result is clearly a weird one, as the character LORA is already based on PC9801 graphic then combined with another LORA that turns the graphic to PC98 style, hmmmm?
Please refer to the character LORA page for what the original graphic would look like.
Anyway, nice work as always, I had fun, thank you.
Really good style representation of pc-98. Honestly its phenomenal.
I'm really curious to know why you decided to train 22 epochs on 1.45k steps? Also your alpha/dim settings(I won't reveal it here) but why did you choose that as well? Thanks ๐
Hey, thanks for the kind words! For IL I've found with the onsite trainer I'm getting better results (though still requires >1.0 strength) at around the 1.5K steps mark. For Pony/FLUX I usually trained for 1K, but IL seems to benefit from more without becoming overdone. For alpha/dim (not a secret by any means) I believe this one was 16/28 - just a little down from the default 16/32.
@kftigerย Tyvm, for the response. I really really appreciate it. Your models are quite often fall into my batch of trainings settings to learn from. One thing I was confused the most on is why did you set it to 22 epochs? Wouldn't that have been like 66,000 steps in total if training on 300 images? Also I'll have to try out 16/28 network settings sometimes. Ive always trained on 16/32 or 16/16.
The PC-98 Flux lora is one of my favorites and I'm glad to see the Illustrious version is awesome as well ๐
