HOW TO INSTALL:
Copy the file 4x_foolhardy_Remacri.safetensors inside the folder: stable-diffusion/models/ESRGAN or ComfyUI/models/upscale_models
Restart/Reload you Stable Diffusion instance
The upscaler should be visible for hi-res and extras tabs

@atleastsmiley no, ESRGAN folder is mostly for people sharing their models between comfyui and a1111 forks (and generally configured manually through extra_model_paths.yaml - dropping it in upscale models should make it visible in the normal upscale node and scripts like ultimatesd
what is a good denoise setting for this upscaler? 0.3?
depends on your resolution, at highest sdxl I would go with 0.19-0.23 with cnet tile or 0.23-0.34 from a normal latent; however, given how people seem to be using it (model bias), might depend on what you're trying to generate :D
The upscaler itself doesn't take a denoise parameter. Or any parameters, for that matter. Denoise is a parameter to the img2img pass you would typically do right after using this upscaler on the output of your txt2img. And that, as 0_vortex said, is entirely dependent on what you're trying to generate and the other resources you're using, not related to which upscaler model you're using.
That said from what the other two said, denoising at like .25 is working pretty good for me if you want it to pretty up the image and not change much.

How do i make this work with fooocus 2.5 ? I'm only able to use the default upscalers
I hope you get this message because I found out how to change fooocus upscaling with chatgpt because nobody ever tried to do it, and it works with any upscaler models with this method now
1. locate upscaler.py file wherever you installed fooocus, save a copy of the original somewhere else safe so you don't break it
2. download any upscaler and if it's .pt extension change it to *.pth
3. with a new upscaler.py file, change the line where it says [ model_filename = "paht/to/upscaler.pth" ]
the path is very case sensitive so make sure you are typing it correctly.
If the instruction still is confusing to you ask chatgpt by uploading the original upscaler.py file and it'll help you.
