    Description

    Event Horizon Krea2:

A clean, versatile Krea2 merge designed as a solid foundation rather than a heavily stylized checkpoint.

Instead of forcing a particular artistic direction, this model aims to preserve Krea2's excellent prompt understanding while providing a balanced and flexible starting point for a wide range of styles.

    ## Highlights

    • Optimized for fast generation (around 6 inference steps)

    • Excellent prompt adherence

    • Neutral visual style

    • Strong base for LoRAs

    • Suitable for illustration, photography, anime-inspired and realistic workflows

    • Designed to let your prompt define the aesthetic—not the checkpoint.

    ## Philosophy

Many checkpoints impose their own look.

    This one doesn't.

The goal was to build a reliable Krea2 foundation that follows your prompt as faithfully as possible while remaining fast enough for everyday use.

If you enjoy experimenting with different styles, characters or LoRAs, this model is intended to stay out of your way.

    ## Recommended

    • 6 steps

    • CFG: 1

    • Sampler: ER SDE

    Enjoy!

After using Krea2 EH for almost 2 weeks now, I have to admit I completely switched from ZIT and doesn't look back. It generates high quality, high detail images in versatile styles, so I'm also not bothering with LoRAs atm.

Does Krea2 take longer to generate for you vs ZiT? In my testing Krea2 takes 3x or 4x longer. Is that just me?

@Astrolab a Krea2 FP8 checkpoint shouldn’t take three or four times longer than Z-Image Turbo unless part of the model is being offloaded to system RAM. Performance depends heavily on how much VRAM you have available. ZIT is faster, yes, but it is also a smaller model: roughly 6B parameters compared with Krea2’s 12B.

@ElectricDreams Seems to check out. I have a 3090ti with 24 GB VRAM and do not notice a difference between ZiT and Krea2 while using them in Forge Neo. Depending on subject, I may even use less steps with Krea2 so it's even a little faster.
