Fairfax, my oc

Precious navy boy

Name: Milton Fairfax

Fairfax was formerly in the Navy. He was disgraced (no fault of his own) and unable to work on a British Naval ship. He was eventually hired by Wolf and serves as unofficial first mate. 

Fairfax is unquestionably loyal, hard working and well mannered. He isn't afraid to speak his mind, can be quite sarcastic and has a habit of teasing the captain about his sailing. 

Despite being polite and an all around good guy, Fairfax is not a pushover and will fight anyone who challenges him (or offend him... he's knocked Wolf out on more than one occasion)

He is not comfortable with his own sexuality and always seems to think someone is out to get him because of it. However he is relaxing a little now Xennia constantly comforts him when he's feeling insecure. If you didn't know Fairfax  and the captain were in a secret relationship, you would assume Fairfax and Xennia were. They are very close, they love to spend time together and have a very loving, beautiful friendship, its very sweet. Honestly if Fairfax wasn't gay he would have married her for sure.
Despite Fairfax seeming quite boring and serious, he is actually really playful. He likes to make sarcastic jokes, state the obvious, playfully tease his friends . He loves to dance, sing and play music. He becomes the real Fairfax when he's comfortable (or has been drinking) I would say he's like a childish uncle who is a total idiot but you love him for being stupid because he makes you laugh. Even when he's being serious he is quite funny. He is so clumsy and has a habit of falling off things and usually blames it on not having the correct boots. He doesn't have his climbing boots on rather than just having two left feet. 

He is obsessed with food. Anyone who feeds him will become an instant friend.

Fairfax plays the concertina, he also hates snakes.

  "Fairfax can get himself into trouble on his own. I've never met a man both clumsy and unlucky. Since i've known him he's been both pushed and fell off a cliff. He was missing for two weeks. we all thought he was dead! he broke his hip and left arm and yet still dragged himself back to the ship. He is incredibly strong willed. If anyone is going to keep this crew safe it's him. He might seem like a bumbling fool but when the time comes to protect and defend this ship he will do so aggressively. if your intentions are honourable he will fight for you"

• Confrontation with an outsider
  "I'm not running from you again... this time you will leave" he raised his flintlock and aimed at Jake's head "let's be gentlemen about this shall we? there are women and children on this vessel, sir, so either you leave or i shoot you dead... demon or not i never miss."
  "this isn't crazy.. this is absurd! you don't just wander onto a ship, throwing your weight around and not expect a fight" his finger was lightly pressing the trigger. one false move and he was going to shoot.  "i'll give you five seconds to call this attack off or i'll kill you where you stand"
  "This is OUR ship, MY family. you will NOT TAKE IT FROM ME!"

  "protect the innocent?... you invade my ship, endanger my crew and now you are asking for my help?" he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "have you ever thought of just coming over. 'oh hello chaps? care to help me out?' because i would have gladly helped whatever crazy land of giant monsters trip you plan on going on"
