These workflows are optimized for NanoMix, but they work equally well with other Illustrious-based models such as Hassaku, Janku, Nova, and WAI — so feel free to use them with whatever checkpoint fits your style! They use RealESRGAN-2x for upscaling, available in the ComfyUI Manager or on OpenModelDB.
Single-Character Workflows:
The single-character workflows are built entirely with ComfyUI's native nodes — no custom nodes required. I’ve organized them into clean, minimal node groups to keep things simple, so you can focus on prompting without getting bogged down in technical details. They're ideal for single-character generations and straightforward compositions. Use Deathspike.Portrait for portraits and Deathspike.Wallpaper for wallpapers.
Multi-Character Workflows:
The multi-character workflows are designed for two or more characters, while keeping each character distinct and prompt-accurate. They use my Tiled Attention Couple custom node and are organized into minimal node groups to stay as clean and user-friendly as possible. You can start with a simple two-character setup, and then expand it to support three, four, or more. Use Deathspike.Portrait.Tiled for portraits and Deathspike.Wallpaper.Tiled for wallpapers.
Description
Switched the upscale model from RealESRGAN-4x to RealESRGAN-2x for better performance, and disabled Tile Shuffling by default.

is there any way to combine this with wildcards?i can see taht u enter the prompts through the tiled attention couple config node, is there a way i can use this with a wildcard encode node or sth
If you have a wildcard node that outputs TEXT, then you can connect the output of that node to the input of the Tiled Config node. If you have a wildcard node that outputs CLIP, then that doesn't work. Which wildcard custom node are you using? Which features do you need? I can add a wildcard feature to Tiled Attention Couple if there are no good nodes out there.
@Deathspike i usually use the impactwildcard encode node, so it can pull character loras, background, and what the character is doing from my wildcards. Ive looked around and havent found anything that allows me to basically go fully modular on the prompt while being able to use some form of regional prompting, it would be amazing if u could actually add that into your node. I can slide into your dms to show what the setup looks like for me usually if im explaining it poorly
@BMTZZ Ah, ImpactWildcardEncode from ImpactPack outputs every type, so you should be able to use the populated_text output and hook that up to any input that requires TEXT, like Tiled Attention Couple (Config) does. I just did a quick test and that seems to work fine (but maybe I'm missing something). Just use the populated_text output and connect it to the positive prompt of tiled!
