ARTIUM
An offshoot from my OMNIUM model, geared more towards an illustrative and painterly style, still very much infused with Omnium's DNA incorporating the roots of what will eventually become 1.2 and then balanced towards a more illustrative look and feel.
Artium, Latin for of the Arts, can be considered an ode to the arts in all their forms and beauty. And as such is an acknowledgement of the fact that generative art is part of the arts. Art has always been about the exploration of media and ideas. Generative art helps to democratize and liberate art and bring it to the masses.
36 additional merges went into Artium 1.0 compared to Omnium 1.1
Description
This version includes parts of what is going into the third version of Omnium, as well as it's own distinct merges, it also incorporates some training steps through a novel technique.
Overall I'd say the realism has increased while also establishing a more unprompted painterly feel, which is what this model set out to achieve.

Congratulations! This checkpoint set a new record for me. 6 anatomical problems in 6 generations!
That's a shame, can you describe the problem in more detail?
@FrenzyX 3-4 fingers hand, not fully drawn crossed legs
@agress74 hands remain a struggling point for SDXL, complex poses in general. Generally you either have to be persistent and tweak the prompt, settings or simply generate a lot to get it right. Either that or employ controlnets.
hey man can u help me how can i do my own xl model training ! please
Check out the kohya_ss repo. You can look here for some further suggestions: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/163097n/getting_started_fine_tuning/
@FrenzyX Hello, I'd like to ask where I can find some tutorials and materials on training SDXL models into SDXL Turbo CheckPoint
@jandk idk if there are step by step tutorials for that out there. Did you google it?
@FrenzyX I'm sorry, forgive my poor English. It seems that there are no such materials in the language I use, and I find it difficult to discern the quality of English search results, so I cannot determine which results are reliable tutorials.
@jandk everyone apologizing for their English on this site sound like college professors 🤔
After playing around with both versions for a while, I have to admit that I significantly prefer the default art style of Artium V1.0
Yeah, they are very distinct, they might as well have been named version Mars and Venus or something like that, as we are inclined to think that 2 must be better than 1. To me they are different and both have their strengths and in a sense this is true for all checkpoints and the versions they have.
@FrenzyX I ended up doing a remix of the Artium v1 with the intention of it being less likely to fall back to photorealistic output if you want to take a look: https://civitai.com/models/271308?modelVersionId=305816
Yeah I already noticed it, saw the name Artium and my initial response was a bit negative, but when I realized it was you and read the context, I have to say I am fine with it and I appreciate your dedicated attempt to steer the model into a direction you personally like a lot. I will be sure to check it out more in depth and give it a spin later when I find the time. I'd appreciate it though if you'd link back to this model in the recommended resources.
@FrenzyX I forgot about the recommended resources - fixed. Do let me know if you notice any other formal errors (especially regarding permissions or the license).
Regarding the name: Calling it anything else seemed disingenuous. It's a very amateur mix, I'm not gonna call it the dragongod model (or whatever) and pretend that it wasn't other people that did 99% of the work.
