A very versatile negative embedding that helps generate high quality images. Higher chances of producing normal looking hands in realistic images.
Best Practices:
Keep your token usage to below 75 for best effect. Most of the time, you don't need to add other quality specifiers to your prompts (e.g. worst quality, bad quality).
Usage:
Negative prompt: bad_pictures
If you notice any artifacts, you can try increasing or decreasing the weighting like this: (bad_pictures:1.1) or (bad_pictures:0.8).
Values between 0.8 and 1.2 seems to work best (clip size 2):
Tested on:
Description
I used the previous version as positive prompt to generate 75 additional images and used those to further train for 100 epochs.

Any chance for a safetensor version? It's possible to run negative embeddings with safetensor, already got some downloaded that works fine.
is there a plugin in auto1111 to convert pt to safetensors?
Never done it myself, but this came up in a Google search from Reddit user VegaKH; If you are using Auto1111 you can easily convert models to SafeTensors without installing another piece of software.
1. Go to checkpoint merger tab.
2. Choose the model you want to convert in "Primary Model (A)"
3. Set the exact same model in "Secondary Model (B)"
4. Choose a custom name for the new model.
5. Set multiplier to 0. Leave "weighted sum" checked.
6. Choose safe tensors
7. Optionally choose FP16 to save space on the hard drive (may slightly degrade image quality, I see no difference.)
8. Hit Run.
@natewilliams would you prefer a png embedded file instead?
@natewilliams does this still work? i can only choose checkpoints in a1111's checkpoint merger tab
FYI, using weights inside square brackets, like [bad_pictures:0.8], is not supported in the Automatic1111 webui. On top of that, using a weight less than 1 inside square brackets would, if it were supported, have the effect of increasing the weight. What you want is (bad_pictures:0.8) instead.
thanks, noted
[bad_pictures:0.8] IS working in auto1111 as stated on official wiki in github.
However its not a weight but sampling time to activate token.
for step count - 40 and [bad_pictures:0.8] lora will start to work at step (40*0.8=)32
Its not a bad idea to put [bad_pictures:0.2] so effect will refine details but not affect initial structural noise at first 5-10 steps
@freezerain Right, I should have been clearer about that. Prompt scheduling is a bit different than weighting, and (I think) it's possible to use both together: ([bad_pictures:0.5]:0.8) would give you bad_pictures, at a weight of 0.8, for the last 20 out of 40 steps. Weighting and prompt editing could have similar effects, but they're slightly different. Vivipeg stated specifically that they meant it as weighting, in which case the bracketed version would be incorrect, as I commented. Otherwise, though, that's a good point that the syntax itself isn't incorrect. It just isn't what Vivipeg intended.
It is suitable for character drawing, because there are character-related content such as hand details, so if you give the AI prompts on the content of the hands when generating the background and environment, it will be easier to collapse.
Yeah, the training data only had images of people in them. I didn't use any landscape/environment images.
Very nice embedding, but you should really name the files differently. All 3 versions are named same when downloading, this makes it a mess when trying to reproduce prompts and you don't know which version of a lora or embedding has been used.
I think the website changed the file name, the old ones were called np_negatives_v2 or something like that. I'll disable the old versions since they kinda suck...
Beautiful.
Does this work for Pony, XL, and Flux?
I tested it on cyber realistic pony and it seems to work fine even without the score tags. Haven't tried the other pony merges though.
@Vivipeg Ok, thanks
