Thunderbird 2: Technical Overview

Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue's heavy-duty transport aircraft, designed to carry specialized rescue equipment to disaster zones.

*Primary Role: Heavy equipment transporter

*Design: A large, green, supersonic aircraft with a unique forward-swept wing design and a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) capability.

Key Features

*Pod System

The central section of the fuselage is a removable pod (or container). Thunderbird 2 can carry different pods numbered 1 to 6, each containing specific rescue vehicles like the Thunderbird 4 (submarine) or the Mole (drilling machine)

*VTOL Capability

It uses powerful downward-facing jets to take off and land vertically, allowing it to operate in rugged terrain without a runway.
