Will the Spectrum Node be included in this workflow in the future? Or this workflow has already included some kind of accelerator node?
There are already 2 acceleration types in. I'll look into spectrum next week, probably.
@Darksidewalker Good to know. No need to rush here. LTX 2.5 has just launched, and it seems to be a good LTX 2.3 upgrade. Expecting good news from you too.
How much VRAM is it required to run REF2V with the provided models linked in the workflow ?
I have 16gb, but I get "Cuda error: out of memory" for a single reference image generation, using the default WF settings.
The model can run on 12gb, depending on settings
@Darksidewalker I updated comfy and rebooted, it works now fine, thanks !
I am full up to date, but just can not get this workflow to run.
2 Invalid Connections
- Settings's guide input expects MINIMAX_H3_DIRECTOR_GUIDE, but the connected output is IMAGE.
- DaSiWa Advanced LoRA Loader's model input expects MODEL, but the connected output is STRING.
2 Validation failed
The workflow couldn't validate a connected node.
If/Else switch Audio
If/Else Switch Images
I found the problem - I had two nodes called MiniMaxH3 Director, the other one from AIMixer had different outputs. I removed that Node and restarted, and it all worked. - Amazing Workflow by the way.
Would it be possible to extend the output, by introducing the last 2 seconds of the previous output to gain continuity? Not sure how it would be prompted?
It is possible, but you will need either an llm or website assistance to be able to prompt the specifications of the video last 2 seconds into the continuation video.
suggestion/recomandation: Add the new Model Preview Override node from KJNodes to get a ppreview of the video while it generates, you can quickly see if the output will match what you wanted and re-prompt if needed. need the taeh3 file from here https://huggingface.co/Kijai/MiniMax-H3-TAE/tree/main/vae_approx that goes into models\vae_approx
I know, it had major bugs some day ago
@Darksidewalker works great now :)
That would be super helpful! I know how to wire the node but I don't know how to wire it from outside the subgraph.
Will look into this, next week
Overall a fantastic workflow, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to get SageAttention working right (on Linux). Any tips?
Thank ya. You could try my installer or follow a guide. Sage-attention is picky to install.
try kitchen attention instead: Update comfyUI, and then add "--use-ck-attention" in your run_nvidia_gpu.bat
@Darksidewalker It sure is. I got it working one time locally in my Dockerized ComfyUI, but I'm running this on Runpod for now and, yeah, they don't like each other. I'll check out the installer.
This is going to be a dumb question, but do I simply use "custom" for aspect ratio when I'm using a FL2VA first reference image?
you can If your format is not standard but you have to set the ration in the backend on the "DaSiWa Resolution Scale Calculator" node. if its standard, select it in the frontend. social for portrait, social + swap aspect for landscape. etc.
Hi! First of all, thank you very much for all the work you’ve put into the DaSiWa MiniMax H3 workflow and models.
I wanted to kindly ask whether you might consider releasing a GGUF quantized version of the DaSiWa MiniMax H3 model in the future, perhaps aroundQ5 or Q4?
I recently tested a MiniMax H3 Curve Form GGUF version on the same system, and the memory behavior was noticeably better, especially with Q5. That made me wonder whether a similar GGUF release for the DaSiWa MiniMax H3 model might be technically possible.
Of course, I completely understand that creating and maintaining another model format takes additional time and effort, so this is only a suggestion/request if it is something you would be interested in supporting.
Thank you again for your work and for sharing it with the community!
Hi, 👋
There is no DaSiWa MiniMax H3 model. If there is one, this is fake, since I didn't do one and most likely will not because of their totally closed and restricted, fully non-open license restrictions.
If they ever change their attitude to be really open and not just fake, I might consider making one.
so basically i can't run 30 steps with ref2va with this workflow cause it just doesnt work :/ i2v is fine - no speed loras used - can't still figure out why ref2va with 30 step 20s doesnt work on this workflow. it does work in other workflows though, could you test 30 steps with 15s and see why not working here? Thanks
You should really considering using a turbo lora. I've been using the 8step one and i've noticed zero decline in quality. https://civitai.red/models/2837571/minimax-h3-turbo-loras?modelVersionId=3219337
Oh you a hungry boy! All the steps! All the seconds!
@KiraNugget Just wondering why it works on other workflows not just this one
The workflow uses comfyui standard downstream components, so this can only be settings preventing you doing this.
@FlowSpecial I'm just kidding around lol
@Darksidewalker I know, and that's the weird part, just doesn't work, fucks up the generation
@KiraNuggetI know xD
Hi Dasiwa, any insight on what we can expect from v1.3? And maybe an ETA? I am having a blast with MMH3 and I love your workflow. Can't wait to see where it will go in the future! Cheers! ❤️
There are thing's planned not only for the workflow. No ETA, since I got a week off, and will not work on any AI related until next week.
So I will look into new nodes and stuff or additions and bug-fixing for the workflow and nodes starting next week.
... did anyone managed to make ref2va work with this workflow as it should? Really like to see a working example, all i get are results that are nothing like expected.
It does work, but you need to follow the prompting guideline.
This one here is a short dance clip of image + video & audio reference. https://civitai.com/images/139120220
It's working, but you need correct prompting
Hi everyone! 😊✨ I hope someone can help me out—if you’d be so kind. I need to use a fixed seed again, but I don't see the option to do so in the workflow. I'm referring to the MiniMax H3 workflow; it's excellent—kudos to the creator—but I need that feature to compare results. Thanks a lot in advance! 🤗💗
This is a comfyui frontend bug not promoting it, they have to fix that. Or you need to set it in the subgraph backend.
Meanwhile you can... -set it in the subgraph backend- to do so...
Click on the settings of the node (top right corner) and navigate to the seed node (click on it and in the drop down menu choose a fixed seed)
How do I prevent the seed from randomizing when I hit run?
As of now you can... -set it in the subgraph backend- to do so...
Click on the settings of the node (top right corner) and navigate to the seed node (click on it and in the drop down menu choose a fixed seed)
ComfyUI/models/diffusion_models/MiniMaxH3/
why do you make directory like this? this is fucking bothersome!!!!First of all, I’m really enjoying using Workflow. Thank you.
I have to manually adjust the aspect ratio every time I use an image—is there a way to do this automatically?
It seems like it would be possible if I could load the image from the Director node into the DaSiWa Resolution Scale Calculator, but it doesn’t appear that I can retrieve the image from the Director node.
🙏, this is planned, but not possible yet
@Darksidewalker Thank you for your reply. I'm looking forward to it. Have a great vacation :)
is there a limit to how long videos can be before they stop working? not breaking, but like stop falling prompts well or renders get unreasonably long? iirc, wan2.2 you wanted to go no more then 7 seconds before it starts to degrade. i could be wrong on that since it's been long time since i used wan2.2 locally on comfyui.
This is the best workflow for H3 that I have found, especially the way you have set up the ref2Vid, it just works, the only thing missing is some of the newer speedup loras.
yah and the possibilite to bypass that strign input. i have m own llm to write not gonnna tpe anything if llm can do it.
@sesaxe1993920 Update the node pack, there is a upstream prompt option added
You can use the speed up Loras that are compatible with Lora loader
I’m not sure if this is feasible, but could a dedicated field for the first frame be added directly to Ref2v? When using prompts, H3 sometimes fails to strictly adhere to the instruction that "<Picture 1> is the opening-frame anchor for [Shot 1]."
The position is tied to the internal order, but the model is trained to use the prompt structure.
Ditto what the OP said. That's not how the ref model works. Why use the ref model if you want straight I2V?
This was the best workflow but a recent update made it impossible to just copy prompts from LLMs, now requiring each of the 6 fields to be handled separately. Anyone know how to fix this?
Does anyone have a tip for the director node? It only accepts a prompt. I assume I must be overlooking something simple. It also didn't work with the lora loader provided but I just switched it out. I think I read something about "lanes", but I don't seem to have those, just a prompt
*slots... not lanes
Make sure you are up2date, the Lora loader works with the director. There are different prompting options depending on the selected mode.
After having the same problem, I tried downloading it off github and replacing the custom node folder in ComfyUI, it seems to have worked. I think comfyUI's extension manager does not have the current latest version.
I'm 100% up to date but it wouldn't work yesterday. I did however try to download from github as well and got a fatal error "refusing to merge unrelated histories". I just now tried it again today, still get that error but this time it works. Thanks for the response guys!
@Darksidewalker I was impressed with the wan workflow, haven't tried the ltx wf, but i'm looking forward to trying this one
Is there a way to download V1.1? The latest one throws a clip error with the Load Clip node.
Load the correct files, you mixed them up
Is it possible to loop videos?
a new LORA for face consistency: https://huggingface.co/fal/MiniMax-H3-Realism-People-LoRA
This is a nice setup, works fine straight off the bat. I was surprised to see no preview. Only changes I needed to give it a thorough run-through were adding the preview node and inserting my own sizing templates and output nodes. Nice work on the H3 director. The model is incredibly sensitive to promptage, any automation at all saves a lot of time.
Oh, question. How do you extract input file names from your director node? I can't really use it without that. I use S&R notation %% to call the input filenames, otherwise I can't keep track of anything. My comps are gigantic, many, many clips, and obviously serial FLF needs to line up. Where does this data live in your node?
Are you planning to make your own minimax h3 version like you made with wan and ltx? The base model is great, but it misses the dasiwa touch.^^
He's probably waiting for all the right loras to come out first to do that.
Is there a way to change the output format to MP4?
Select what you want on the enhanced video combine node.
@Darksidewalker Thank you!
The director update is nice, but when I drag a video into comfyui that had the workflow embedded, my prompt doesn't show up in the director node, it just shows the default text. This essentially means I can no longer use my old prompts.
Additionally, it's quite inconvenient to not be able to set "control after generate" on the noise seed via the main settings panel. Seems like a bit of an oversight no?
You can just copy over, right? This was the only way to have it backwards compatible without loosing the prompt for me.
For the second one, this is a comfy bug, for some time now, nothing I can fix atm.
@Darksidewalker I'm not sure you understood my issue? I don't keep my prompts anywhere other than within the embed of a video file. I made all my videos with the previous version of your workflow and when they were dropped into comfy ui the prompts would show up in the director text boxes. Now they don't show up after the update.
@Fealow Did you update to 0.4.17?
@Darksidewalker I'll check.
@Darksidewalker yep currently 4.17 installed.
@Fealow I had this issue awhile back and reverted. Not sure what fixed it this time. I did update comfyui today, maybe try that if you haven't already
@Fealow I tested yesterday and all was working, compatible with old inputs. Maybe update comfy and the nodepack, DL the WF again
@Darksidewalker I experience the same issue on 0.4.17 I cannot see the prompts and reference images anymore on the latest update... yes i can just go in hex editor and fetch the prompts from there but i expected atleast backwards compatibility... now i have to find all the images again manually and yes i updated everything to the latest version... but its just not appearing... also im confused about these new changes for aspect, resolution, and input scaling... do we just keep the defaults and not touch that? we always used the settings + inputs node to configure the output of the vid... what do we do with these new settings in MiniMax H3 Director?
@everainess777 Everything is documented on github and what these settings do.
Sorry not everything could be done fully backwards compatible with that much major changes.
The prompt should show in the comfyui "properties panel" as least backwards compatible option.
@Darksidewalker I had to roll back to version 4.09 before the prompt would show up again. But if what you say is true and the prompt is still in the properties panel, I can live with that.
@Fealow should be fixed with 0.4.19
When I try to use the last frame extracted from the video as a first frame for the next one in I2VA, it gets progressively darker, making it hard to create a seamless video, Anyone has a tip or fix for that?
Dasiwa Minimax model when ? 🤔
I think he is enjoying his vacations right now but.... HOW LONG ARE THESE VACATIONS!!??😭 XD
thanks for the constant updates to this workflow, for me everything works expect the preview node it keeps giving me this error [WARNING] Initial noise preview failed (sigmas still sent): mat1 and mat2 shapes cannot be multiplied (1060224x1 and 24x3) in yellow text. any advice?
@Darksidewalker Have you seen people using the ref model as like a qwen edit image editor? I've always wanted to do something this with previous video models and grab the starting image before generating the video.
No, I did not
There is a simple workflow available on civitai but i feel it could be improved. I tested it a bit and it works but the resolution was so so
I don't think you could do this until after the vae decode node which would be after the video is most generated, but you could make like a 1 second video then put a getbatch image node after the vae decode to grab the first frame. This would effectively let you use ref2vid to generate images from references but it seems a bit of an upside down way to do it.
The resolution on that other workflow is probably not great because they are pulling the first frame before the upscale occurs. You could do something like decode > upscale > save image though
@FirstPrinciples i manually added an upscale with model after the vae. result wasnt bad but you can see it was not the best from up close in 4k res. You can see some examples on my page.
@KiraNugget hey, if I remember right you answered to my other comment about whispering audio effect a few days ago. I thought you mentioned a whispering lora would help but I cannot seem to find it anywhere...
@KiraNugget there is already a feature for that in the workflow
@Darksidewalker right, you could set the video to 1 sec and extract first frame. Havent thought of using it this way
@KiraNugget I meant the upscale with model XD
@FirstPrinciples There's a workflow by the youtuber that goes by Aitrepreneur that's paywalling the workflow on patreon so I couldn't really get an understanding of what its actually doing. I'll see if I can find it somewhere else to see if its the real deal
@KiraNugget Thanks that looks like a solid workflow for single image editing with the FL2VA model, but I’m trying to use multiple reference images with REF2VA if possible.
I think I finally found what I was looking for. I am currently testing it out. If you anyone else is interested in testing it out, I ain’t gonna gatekeep it like those dirty YouTubers. It includes T2I, img2img, ref edit and more workflows, and the Reference Edit one actually uses the H3 REF2VA model.
The only things missing are the upscale and some optimization nodes bc it's a little rough to run high res.
https://github.com/astropuzzo/ComfyUI-MiniMax-H3-Image-Studio/tree/main
@bhopping You can just change the flv node for the ref2v one with multiple images and change the model
@KiraNugget fr? I spent hours yesterday trying to do something like that with a different workflow yesterday and couldn't figure it out, have you already accomplished that with MintStikz's workflow? Where are you plugging in the images to? There's only first and last frame image inputs no?
@bhopping change the minimaxe image to video node for the minimax reference to video node
@bhopping And you might have to add an other load vae node for the audio vae, If it throws an error, I dont remember if you need it connected
@KiraNugget Oh yeah I forgot about that, that's what i did with the different workflow and couldn't get it to work and expected to run into the same issue. thanks, workflow diff i suppose lol
@bhopping If you find a good one or anything let me know caus' I love image edit workflow
@KiraNugget @bhopping I was able to modify the Image worflow Kira provided to work with REF 2 image, I will clean it up and upload in a bit... just did 4 inputs but it works, gave it two characters, a background, and a pose for reference and it put them all together correctly
@FirstPrinciples Nice! I will download it for sure
Generating image to video with this workflow is super slow even with the turbo lora I don't know why.
Depends on your specs and settings.
Can you name the faster workflow with the same quality?
@Darksidewalker Pixaroma's MiniMax H3 workflow with a turbo model finishes a 6 second video under 4 minutes. This workflow on an absolute minimal resolution with a turbo lora a 6 second video generates more than 6 minutes. RTX 4070 TI 12VRAM, 32 GB system RAM. The Pixaroma's workflow provide a bit higher resolution than the lowest on this workflow.
@sarahbonestone Just interested, when the wf is better, why you did not use it anymore?
I really doubt that it can compete with the same quality/settings.
BUT, I would examine, tell me the workflow (there are like 11 types) and model type (quant) and settings and I'll look into.
@Darksidewalker
Ok, give me enough time and I will get back with some additional info. I think I will try to set up a clean comfyui with your workflow and start from scratch, something is definitely not right, the lower resolution and turbo lora should provide quicker and better results than the pixaroma's but it still ain't the case, I am not sure what model type I used anymore, have to check again. Will be back with more info, thanks for the help so far.
@Darksidewalker I found out that comfy-kitchen Attention seems to have a better speed then SageAttention. the new comfy attention is already built in comfyui you just dubble click on a new emty spot and you search for ModelAttentionBackend you open the node then you select comfy-kitchen Attention.
SageAttention is slower and has a blurry haze on the videos mostly in the eyes you can see that or hands in lots of movement...
comfy-kitchen Attention is faster and keeps the video sharp
i tried adding it myself but there are so many settings in the backend of the workflow... i would rather wait for the new workflow update where comfy-kitchen Attention is added as a toggle under SageAttention or something
Comfy-Kitchen Attention is already implemented. What is your point?
@Darksidewalker ohh wait... the 🔮SageAttention with the magic ball emoji is the comfy-kitchen Attention already? sorry for misunderstanding... wanted to make sure if it was using that...
You don't even need the node. Start comfyUI with the argument --use-ck-attention and Comfy kitchen attention will be used.
@vicaut you can do that, but I prefer the ability to enable/disable on demand.
First of all, I really like the workflow you created. However, I've encountered some problems recently, and do you know how to solve them? The error messages are as follows:
4 nodes — 4 errors
2 Invalid connection
Connected nodes are using incompatible input and output types.
Settings - guide
Settings's guide input expects MINIMAX_H3_DIRECTOR_GUIDE, but the connected output is IMAGE.
DaSiWa Advanced LoRA Loader - model

Did you installed all the missing nodes in the comfyui settings?
@sarahbonestone yep,I have no missing nodes, and comfyui is also the latest version.
You must have installed broken or incompatible nodes, if really everything is up2date.
@Darksidewalker Thank you for your suggestion. I will check all the nodes I have installed again.
Minimax H3 Director node now always gives me an error: ## Error Details - Node ID: 1512:2591 - Node Type: SamplerCustomAdvanced - Exception Type: RuntimeError - Exception Message: RuntimeError: shape '[1, 128, 1, 1, 20, 2, 12, 2]' is invalid for input of size 125952. I am up to date, and tried all possibilities with aspect, resolution or scaling - always the same dimension error. i set 768x1280 manually - no change.
I treid 1.4 with updated nodes - still the same error:
Root Causes
1. Non-Standard Canvas Dimensions & Frame Count (Primary Error)
Log Error: RuntimeError: shape '[1, 128, 1, 1, 20, 2, 12, 2]' is invalid for input of size 125952
Why it happens: You set the resolution to 768×1312 with 362 frames.
Height (1312px): $1312 \div 32 = 41$ (an odd latent patch count). MiniMax H3 requires spatial dimensions to be divisible by 32 or 64 pixels so patchifying grids can split evenly in latent space.
Frame Count (362): MiniMax H3 temporal patchification expects total frames to conform to standard video VAE multiples (typically $4n + 1$, such as 81, 161, 241, 321, or 361 frames).
2. Resolution Scaling Divisor Failure
Log Error: ValueError: Target box is too small to preserve aspect ratio at divisible_by.
Why it happens: The DaSiWa MiniMax H3 Director node attempts to force reference media to align with a hardcoded divisible_by factor (64px). When fed non-standard aspect ratios or small reference crops, the scaling logic fails before sending tensors to the sampler.
T2VA also fails - at audioVAE decode.
Sorry to say that, but your AI analysis is wrong.
- 362 frames is VALID. H3 grid is 17k+5 (17*21+5=362). "361 = 4n+1" is wrong grid. Frames are NOT the cause.
- No 64px divisor exists. Canvas snaps 32, input scaling uses 16. The "64px factor" claim is false.
- Error's 41/40 = spatial, not frames: 41=1312/32, 40=1280/32. It's a 1312-tall canvas forcing 41 latent-patch rows.
- 768x1280 is 32- and 64-clean. "Didn't change" => external canvas overwrite won over your manual value (Director JS disables the panel when external canvas is linked; override passes unsnapped W/H).
Pasted analysis blames frames (wrong) + 64px (wrong). Real signal is spatial 41/40 from a forced 1312 dimension, most likely an external width/height overwrite or a second canvas source.
I suspect you have incompatible or broken nodes installed or using other additions.
i have no other additions, but i deleted all custom nodes and reistalled them with comfyui manager. It seems to work now!
Is there a good way to view the prompts for generations made with previous versions of the director node?
When I've tried to reload older generations none of the references or prompt are transferred.
I really like this workflow. Works great and I like the RTX upscaler integration. I'm still on v12 as my comfyui is still on the released version. Would love a way other than copying and pasting the Director node to save various reference setups for characters and scenes. maybe a scene and character nodes that could be used as inputs? maybe this is coming?
Hi! This workflow is really great—thanks a lot for it. I have a question. I'm using reference images, and I also try to use a rough sketch just to show the character's pose and camera angle. In my prompt, I say it's a layout. But Minimax still treats the sketch like it's part of the final video and tries to include all the messy lines. How can I stop that from happening?
Also, is there another way to control character pose and camera position? I need control, but making a first frame for every single shot is just too much work.
Thanks for the workflow! Always love the way you organize it.
I had to replace your custom LoRA loader though because it doesn't seem to support keyboard entry of strength values.
It does, just click it.
@Darksidewalker Odd. Doesn't work for me. (ComfyUI 0.33.2 ComfyUI_frontend v1.49.6)
same, doesn't for me either. I have to spam click the arrows to raise and lower the strengths.
Nothing I can do without a proper bug report
You have once again surpassed every expectation. The moment MMH3 was released, there were a handful of workflows floating around, but nothing worked properly for me. Yours worked right away with no issues. Load the models, and done!~
Your layout is always super easy to follow, and I love that. Version 1.2 was great, but 1.3 never worked for me, so I stayed on 1.2 until 1.4. Now, with the auto aspect ratio and everything else, all my stuff finally works out of the box without me having to crop or resize anything.
One thing I noticed in your "Model Storage Location" guide: on my setup, the fl2va and ref2va models had to go into the unet folder instead of the diffusion_models folder. Not sure if that was a small mistake in the guide or just something specific to my setup, but other than that, I had no issues.
It is also really well optimized. 10 seconds, 2K videos upscaled with RTX Upscaler look so much better, and on my dinky ROG STRIX RTX 3090 24GB, it only takes about 13 minutes, which is pretty crazy.
Keep up the good work! ♥
sir, are u using Loras then for nsfw? the WF is great so far but it supposes the standard untrained model... nsfw wont work
@JSON_dynamics, did you meant to comment that in someone else's post, or...? o_O
@Hyokkuda i was wondering if u had any hints / tipps for loras that actually do something with MH3
Hmm, I’m pretty sure it can do NSFW right out of the box, @JSON_dynamics. That was basically one of the first things everyone mentioned when it released. lol
I am not the best person to ask, though, since my stuff is pretty tame. Your best bet is to check the gallery below the comments, find something close to what you are looking for, and see what LoRAs or models people are using.
@Hyokkuda well i know it can do some stuff , i have some loras that actually do stuff but-------but most of the time physics will look bad, its just not the quality we have with wan loras etc. like if u know about some real deepthroat lora or heavy smooth penetration let me know ok?
Dasiwa, you always deliver. Thank you.
I have questions. Will you add Spectrum node in the near future?
Is there any reason you put the Shift video at 10 and shift audio at 5, instead of the official 12/3?
And lastly, I'd love that you make a list of what you changed with each update, because it's not very clear.
Thank you for your work.
Also curious about the 10/5 default video/audio shift
The shift worked best for me, that's why, no deep reason.
Spectrum will not be added, since I added comfy-kitchen attention what's the most convenient and stable atm, imho.
Changelog is in about this version.
https://jo-nike.github.io/h3-turbo-eval/ is a good starting point. I still like Kijais 0.1 turbo version 4 steps the most: minimax_h3_fl2v_lightx2v_turbo_4step_v0.1_comf, 0.75 strength, @ 8 steps, er_sde, 12 / 3 (default). So Shift video should be at 12, shift audio at 3 or 6.
the current minimax h3 director and the dasiwa lora loader causing severe lags...im on the newest comfiui build and i did the nightly update with the newest dasiwa nodes(with new aspect settings and so on).
if i pull each node somwhere else on the canvas its running smooth.if im looking on one of the nodes its very laggy...
I don't understand what the issue is. You can make a issue on GitHub with more information, so I can look into
@Darksidewalker if im hovering continuously above one of the nodes its very laggy(freezing/fps drops).im on amd 9800x3d rtx5090 win11 and the new comfiui 33.2.i did open the new workflow u have uploaded here.i did turn off all Startup args in comfiui but but nothing changed....
it just started at the moment i upgraded comfiui, workflow, dasiwa nightly nodes at the same time.overall it works but its very annoying...
@hartweizen I got the same setup, but Linux and could not notice this
@hartweizen Try another browser. A clean one with no extensions.
I got 160 (max fixed) fps of my monitor regardless of zoom-level and focused node.
@Darksidewalker i "fixed" it. i did update to a nightly/beta version of comfiui.and same issue was there.i duplicated the current workflow and it was gone.
so the first active workflow was buggy somehow...
opened a "new" workflow before i did that but i think 33.2 did break the workflow.
I really like DSW's 'workflow' node mode and neat layout.
It worked in the previous (2026-08-12) 'MINIMAX-H3 workflow', but after updating the 'Comfyui-Dasiwa-nodes' extension and the new version (08-18) of 'workflow', both the previous and current workflows became unavailable, and 'sage attention' became unavailable. Even if I disabled these options, they were always listed as 'GPU' BOOM', and prompted me to reduce the image resolution. In fact, I always generate with one image specification. I realized that the new 'workflow' also added a large node of 'Model Preview Override', which I knew nothing about, so I did not have the 'tiny_VAE' model and disabled it. The current 'workflow' I cannot run successfully at all. I don't know where the problem lies. Can you explain the updated content and changes in the introduction? I don't know how to fix it now.
Hello sir, could you please tell me where to put the Spectrum apply minimax h3 node in this workflow? I'm quite new in this, so please be patient with me. Thanks.
Not needed, since comfy-kitchen attention patch node is in, but if you want to replace than there where this node is.
hello sir as a big fan of your older checkpoints i wonder if this workflow does actually help in doing nsfw stuff - since i guess it wont until we dont get propper loras or checkpoints for MH3 (of which i assume arent any published yet)?
There's much available and H3 can do NSFW, also I'm working on something's too.
A workflow does nothing special to NSFW, that depends entirely on the model and Loras.
@Darksidewalker thx. exactly thats why im asking. i didnt find any MH3 Loras/models from you yet. Since u said theres good stuff out there, could u please rcommend any? I didnt find the good stuff yet..
@JSON_dynamics I did not made any, still in the works
Hi DaSiWa,
I've been comparing MythicAlchemy v15 and v12 side by side (same input, same settings otherwise), and v15's video output looks noticeably more compressed/blocky than v12's.
Digging into the workflow JSON, I found that the quality parameter on the DaSiWa_EnhancedVideoCombine node is set to 28 in v15, versus 20 in v12. Since that's the CRF-style compression setting, an 8-point jump is a pretty visible quality drop on its own.
Was that change to 28 intentional (e.g. to cut file size or export time), or did it slip in unintentionally between versions? Just want to understand the reasoning before I revert it to 20 on my end.
Thanks for the great workflow!
for AV1 28 is quite good and mostly no harm, and I used that. On other codecs this might make is blocky...right.
@Darksidewalker Thanks for the advice! I had the codec on auto before, which gave me disappointing results. It’s definitely much better now
I recently updated your nodes, and it moderately broke the workflow. Are you planning a release to fix that? It was just some nodes not connected properly, but that might cause some people grief. Lol.
Without a proper issue report I have no idea what to fix.
I'm not aware of a broken workflow.
Redownload the workflow.and check if the ref image is set to match.fps to 24.duration to 5sek.
After the last nightly updates he added some aspect and image scaling features and that somehow didnt properly updated correctly.
And one lora is set to -4.95 in the workflow u need to fix that.
@hartweizen Yea, I didn't realize the workflow was updated. There is only one choice here. Lol. I redownloaded it. Separate version would be nice, so we know when it's updated.
@Darksidewalker After redownloading the workflow, it's all good now. Also, I've been enjoying your work forever and I'm convinced you're magic. Lol. Incredible as always. No turbo lora, 12 step ref2va with 2 2k res references, 16gbs or vram and 64gbs of ddr4 5 second video took under 5 minutes. Legit magic.
Yeah, there is a quirk with one Lora value, and the massive updates are sometimes not fully backwards compatible to old workflows.
Old workflows are all on my GitHub repo for reference.
Can you please add an autoprompter option?
You can combine 2 turbo LORAs: minimax_h3_fl2v_lightx2v_turbo_4step_v0.1_comfy.safetensors @ 0.75 and minimax_h3_fl2v_turbo_8step_v1.0_comfyui_bf16.safetensors @ 1 -> down to 6 steps now (try ER_SDR, euler or res_multistep for best results).
use one of those or use both loras ? I am confuse
dayum, that's quite an amazing combination holy fuck
thank you vicaut
I just wanted to say that you did a fantastic job. It's incredibly well-made and very user-friendly.
A huge thank you!
your lora node is not working any way to fix it
What are u trying to do?
Turbo loras need a extra special node for it to work.
And some loras work better with i2v/ref2v and not working t2v.
There are many things to look into.
Some lora only work with F2lf or ref2v checkpoint.
Dasiwa lora loader works as intended
Lora node Idk but I'm having issues with the workflows with the update
@KillThisLove U need the newest comfiui build (33.2) and update to the newest dasiwa nodes.im using the latest cu/pytorch.
I'm running into an issue with the DaSiWa Advanced LoRA Loader where the visual UI script doesn't render, and the node drops down to fallback mode showing raw JSON in the stack_data text box
Latest one is good and easy to work with, thank you. Problem for me is that every time I change a setting in the Director node, the text box resizes. If I swap out a photo, it resizes. If I change resolution, it resizes.
Not sure if this is a node issue or if it's your custom node, so plese let me know.
Thank you for your work. Will you be adding support for Motion Context? Also, I hope you can add an option to lock the seed—that would make testing much easier for me.
connect a seed generator to the noise seed ;)
@KiraNugget okay so it DOESNT have it lmao i spent like 15 minutes looking for a way to lock the seed thinking it was already in the workflow. im such and idiot LOL
It's the new version with kitchen attention better with an RTX 5090 , or should i stick with the sage attention one ?
comfikitchen wich is already build in the workflow but u have to check if its turned on.sage is slightly slower now since few weeks(for minimax version)
Dear dasiwa, I just put your native workflow in ComfyUI to the test. I started generating a ten-second video, and the timer showed exactly “Prompt executed in 00:42:06.” Honestly, the output quality is breathtaking, but the downside is that the execution time drags on. For comparison, I ran the same video through another workflow, and there, the time dropped to just “executed in 572.23 seconds.” The result: I’m truly sorry that I have to do without your workflow—which is so well-structured—solely because of this slowness. That said, thank you so much for sharing it and for all the hard work you put in. Hats off to you.
Both videos are here, posted side by side, so everyone can see and judge for themselves.
I honestly have no idea why it would take that long for you. I render a 10s video in ~420s with native settings on ref2va, even faster like with fl2va.
I will try to find out if it comes from the files
I am also having similar extremely slow results. If there is anything that can be done, please let me know.
love ur job ! will u add auto prompt, turbo and sol ?
turbo will be merged with his own checkpoint.there is already a eros10 beta 2 checkpoint with 6 steps(bf16) out.but u have to convert it to int 8 convrot with ComfyUI-QuantizationToolkit.
auto prompt i dont know.Comfy kitchen(in the workflow) is faster then sage/sol attention i think(i didnt test it myself).
ComfyUI-H3-SLA-Attention https://github.com/PlagueKind/ComfyUI-PlagueKind-Nodes
i put it after Comfikitchen node(before the guider).it drasticly reduces rendering time at higher resolution 1mp and 15 seconds.mine go down from ~60s/it to ~ 44s/it.at lower resolution there is not much improvements .and pls add fixed seed so i can compare better pls :)
Quick question. when i add a turbo lora, i get garbled audio. Do we know why? Do I need to change workflow settings other than reducing steps?
u need specific "MiniMax-H3 Turbo LoRA" node for that and build it in.turbo versions needed that specific node.there is already a eros10 beta2 with merged 6 step turbo lora out but u need to convert it to int8 convrot for better speed(including rtx5090).
@hartweizen thats helpful, let me take a stab at this. Thank you
@hartweizen i didnt even know that, ive been using torbo lora without that node since release, and audio was hit and miss. Simetimes crappy sometimes good. I will test that tonight :) is it lika a "load lora" node? And should it be placed right after model loader?
Also depends on your steps. Using 4 step LORA @8 steps will enhance quality.
@KiraNugget Yes its a extra node u have to add. Beforehand.otherwise u get many errors while starting a run(terminal log spamming errors).
1.6 is not working for me:
# ComfyUI Error Report ## Error Details - Node ID: 1512:2591 - Node Type: SamplerCustomAdvanced - Exception Type: RuntimeError - Exception Message: RuntimeError: shape mismatch: value tensor of shape [180, 512] cannot be broadcast to indexing result of shape [720, 96]
I deleted all custom nodes reinstalled them, made all the latest updates, but no luck. 1.4 still works.
Thank You DaSiWa. One question - how to set noise to fixed ? There is no option - even inside sub graph its grey out.
Unplug the node in the backend and set to fixed or add a seed node in frontend and connect to noise seed
i didn't find the keep generate seed button where is it?
There is an aspect ratio option in the configuration. What does “Custom” mean? Does it automatically match the aspect ratio of the input image, or do I need to unlock the width and height settings and enter fixed values manually?
I tried selecting “Custom,” but the generated video still doesn’t seem to match the aspect ratio of the original image.
All your question are documented on the node page for github, in detail
I don't know what's going on, but this workflow eats up about 2–4 GB of space on my SSD per generation; after just 20 generations, it’s practically filled up 200 GB. Is that normal? Am I going to have to say goodbye to my SSD? Hahaha.
it`s rtx upscale+refine
Deactivate mmap, but than you might OOM without enough RAM/VRAM
Me too, I thought I was tripping.
So if junk files are being stored somewhere, where do you find them to delete them?
Restarting ComfyUi will empty the upscale cache files. Somewhere in the process of starting Comfy cleans out temp files. Some files might linger until you restart windows.
You can also delete the Dasiwa RTX node and replace it with RTX Video Super Resolution. Same result, without having dasiwa node destroying your SSD.
@SolHel Or you update the node-pack. This bug was fixed.
@Darksidewalker I’ve updated the nodes, but I still notice it affecting my SSD space. I mention this because I have 40 GB manually allocated for SWAP, and my system has 64 GB of RAM and an RTX 3090 (24 GB).
The RTX Super Resolution node from the "Comfyui_Nvidia_Rtx_Nodes" set seems to respect my swap space and doesn't encroach on the storage I use for my files and other data.
@LucyAegis If you are really on latest and disabled mmap, there is no way it uses disk.
Is it even worth trying with GeForce RTX 3080 12GB or Minimax requires more memory/better videocard?
w4a8 works fine on 12 Gb but w4a8 require 40xx series.
And not from Dasiwa. Not tried other quants but w4a8 from Dasiwa is awfully bad.
@Velant I removed the file already, since it seemed corrupted somehow.
You can stop to went on every post...
I used normal models and hybrid models with 16gbvram and 32gb of ram. I'm sure you are fine. Give it a shot and test your limitations
Is there some trick to preventing smearing/distortion on distant faces and fast detailed motion (e.g. fingers and hair)? I've tweaked a whole bunch of variables (MP, steps, LORA weights, etc) but nothing seems to work.
Known bug of the model. Nothing can be done : https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1vkplzt/summary_of_takeaways_from_the_minimax_ama/. There is some solution like https://github.com/Carasibana/ComfyUI-H3-FaceRefine who can help.
Do you happen to have MiniMax H3 Cache toggled on? If so, turn it off or replace it with Spectrum Apply MiniMax H3 node
Hi everyone.
Is there a way to use {choice 1|choice 2} to generate several movie where it pick one of the option ?
Anyone can recommend the best turbo lora for this workflow? One i use gives weird results
minimax_h3_fl2v_lightx2v_turbo_4step_v0.1_comfy.safetensors @ 0.75 strength plus minimax_h3_fl2v_turbo_8step_v1.0_comfyui_bf16.safetensors @ 1 strength, both together @ 6 steps.
@vicaut Yo, do you have a workflow with the turbo loras in place? I dont see how to add steps in the lora manager. I'm not very familiar with MMH3.
@johhnnymann1 oh boy. LORAs have strengh. Steps is overall computing. Use Dasiwas workflow.
@vicaut you use that also with ref mode? can you tell what this combinations does best (more detail, faster runs etc..) , first time seeing this. also what sampler and scheduler works best with this combi?
@bldpsnmlt791 Yes, and i use euler / beta. But you can also try ER_SDE.
Hi Dasiwa,
Great works. .
Using on Comfyui kitchen attention on V 0.32
660 secondes for 14 second R2V clip with 48 fps frame interpolation + upscale *2.
Final size : 1216/2176
This is for your int 8 hybrid H3 checkpoint.
On the other side, i wonder how and so wich of your workflow using to run your W4A8 checkpoint ?
Using the actual Workflow leads to a strange waving clip.
Thanks
Could you add an optional "Unload All Models" step before the H3 sampling stage?
I'm running your workflow on an RTX 4060 Ti 16GB + 32GB RAM, and it seems that the large Qwen encoder remains loaded after text encoding, potentially consuming a lot of RAM during H3 sampling.
Some users report significantly better memory usage after manually unloading Qwen before sampling.
An optional "low RAM" version of the workflow would be amazing for 16GB VRAM / 32GB RAM systems. 🙏
Thanks for the excellent H3 workflow!
Good idea, I can look into
Hey boss, just wanted to toss this into your community suggestion box:
https://github.com/Carasibana/ComfyUI-H3-FaceRefine
hoping this gets integrated to the next revision
I would like to look into
Splendid job as usual , the one issue I'm having is when I select 16:9 aspect , the generation always gets stuck , and I have to force close the comfy ui console to fix it , any idea why it could be happening? with other aspects it works fine.
Has anyone tried motion syncing using REF2VA with this workflow?
When I try to have the character in REFImage follow the motion in REFVideo, it either doesn't follow the movements at all or just lip-syncs to the song included in REFVideo.
Even if I set the prompt to have the character in REFImage follow the movements in REFVideo, it does not use the movements in the video as a reference at all.
it worked for me: https://civitai.red/images/140137160 prompt included ;)
@KiraNugget LoRa was the problem. It works fine now that I've removed LoRa. Thank you for your answer :)
Anyone know if there's a youtube video explaining how the heck to use the MinMax H3 Director for Ref2VA? I've uploaded Images and Audio, but have no clue how to fill in all the extra stuff. Hitting Prefill just makes generic "opening frame anchor", which I have no idea what that means. :p
not to toot my own horn but my workflow will help for the prompting https://civitai.red/models/2834106/minimaxh3-auto-prompter-v72?modelVersionId=3261896
MMH3 has a very spêcific way of prompting and you have to follow a the official guide, which my workflow does for you.
@KiraNugget Thx! I'll give it a try.
Personally I'm using a local LLM to write the prompts in LMStudio. I give it a txt file version of the REF2VA guide, and then my reference materials. Tell it what I want the video to be about and how graphic I want it to be. Currently experimenting with an uncensored Qwen3.8. But my best results were with an uncensored Gemma 4 model explicitly made for creative writing, I just didn't like it because it was very dense making it super slow.
Anyone Know where to Find his FL2VA? Can't seem to find it.
There is none made from me atm.
In this workflow, is there a way to use REF2VA but without audio involved? As it create output without any audio, skipping any processing audio related entirely.
writing N/A in both audio fields should do the trick. I would also mention "no audio" or "silent video" in summary section or somthing like that. But I dont know if this will really speedup the process that much as I think you will still need to load the audio vae for the video to render
I did not test, but would be interesting if it skips anything or just make an empty audio.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I did just try "N/A" on both section with "No audio or music" within the summary, but that didn't work likely because the prompt has things like "dance" in it.
Can always do post processing to remove it but was just hoping there was way to make it a little more efficient.
Is it possible to change the output file type to like mp4 or something else? Or would I have to route the nodes to a different video combiner?
Nevermind, found it in the notes. You just have to change the codec to a different format.
This Workflow might require some extra steps that if you're not a ComfyUI expert you might need an LLM to walk you through problem solving, but... totally worth it.
Currently testing with the new Eros model of H3 and I'm getting 5sec video on a 4090 with no loras in about 2.5min. I had to modify the subgraph for 0 video and audio shift. but it works great. Full 15sec is about 10min.
Need small advice from you guys. I'm enjoying the workflow (Thanks Dasi) But in terms of video length the workflow hits the wall at 30 sec. I can do 27 just fine but can't go past that. What methods do you guys use to extend the length of the generations inside this workflow?
Im loving this workflow, so clean! Hoping for an extended video update. I've seen a few workflows that use 15 second, "chunks" that keep the voices and scene context the same, but most are full of extra junk that break them unless your a master ComfyUI user.
model link?
Hey have you heard about the Latent Upscale Model? It sounds like people are liking it from this workflow, perhaps you can add it to yours too?
Hey! I read this, but the node seem to have countless issues, is not on comfy-registry. I'm not quite sure if I want all that hassle yet.
@Darksidewalker Yeah thats understandable, thanks for the response : )
@bhopping I looked into this and tested the implementation into the workflow. I did implement this. The next version will have an option. Thx for mentioning this!
@Darksidewalker Awesome I am glad you also added chunking along with the update, very nice, thank you too for keeping it up to date
@bhopping Thank your for your work/art and activities!
很期待你的长视频工作流
Might be a dumb question, but how to randomize the seed after each gen ? 🤔
This is very very good btw, thanks !
connect a seed node to the noise_seed on the settings nodes on the front end. you can then choose fixed or randomize after each gen
Not needed anymore. Since it is not fixed from comfyui, I included a advanced seed node now.
Workflow update AND turbo model!? We are eating good today boys!
I hope it holds up 😸
on latent upscale node. "device" defaults to Bf16, which is not a valid option, had to switch to cpu as it was throwing an error
@KiraNugget bf16 worked well on my side, maybe it is gpu/driver dependant?
@Darksidewalker no i mean in the node options the "device" was set to bf16 for some reason instead of cpu or cuda or the other one. Probably because i saved the wf before downloading the node.
I saw the same issue, CPU doesn't throw an error, but it just hangs forever at the if/else switch after the latent upscaler node. Setting it to CUDA for me for was an instant OOM on my 12GB card.
I believe the latent upscaler node was just updated and it threw off a couple default values that were set in some other workflows I was using it on. I had to manually change them. Not sure if this is what's happening to others.
I saw that issue on someone posting on my discord. But I did not have this issue.
@Darksidewalker I think it happens if you save the workflow before installing the node.
@jchadwic292 same for me on a 4070 ti 16vram 32 ram ... :(
Having an issue where even if I change seed, the generation is always the same every gen. Any way around this?
set the seed number to "0", and set to "random" will fix it
@otakuhard thanks! will try this out
hmm that doesn't work. the seed number doesn't move
@boombastic11 update the nodepack
Any one could give an insight on what the latent upscale node settings should be? no matter what I try it either get stuck generating or I get an OOM :( I got a 4070 ti 16vram +32ram
And the bf16 model from here https://huggingface.co/LBH-123-AI/Minimax_h3_latent_Upscaler/tree/main
Maybe the node was outdated, it got an update and I had to update the wf too to comply. Try v1.8
@Darksidewalker will try tonight. Thx for the heads up! :)
@KiraNugget I have the same issue using the Latent Upscale option on v1.8 running RTX 4090 and getting OOM with a 0.36MP render with the node settings (device/precision) at cuda/fp16 - OOM and also cpu/fp16 - frozen
@cstudevan100 thats weird, i know its supposed to be slow but i dont think you should have a 5090 with32vram to run this node lol
@Darksidewalker Same problem in V1.8, can't use lantent upscale at all :(

Comfyui update 0.34.0 broke the node
@Darksidewalker awww damn 😢
Should be fixed with nodepack 0.4.26
I got some problem with POV shot, i'm using your 8 steps model with your workflow. It can't produce a POV video as i prompt
When the first video finishes, the rest of the queue instantly produces the same video. So I get the same video multiple times. Is this because of the workflow or am I doing something wrong? The seed is set to random.
I tried removing your noise node and adding it again but it didn't work. I had to replace your noise generator node with the regular RandomNoise node, and with that this works :/
Curious, I'm running an RTX 4090 with 24GB VRAM and 64GB system RAM, if I run this workflow with the 3D Latent Upscale on cuda and fp16 at 0.32 MP I get an OOM, if I run on cpu at fp16 it runs but so slow it's not even worth using. Is this normal for a 4090 not to be able to handle a 0.32 MP render with latent upscaling? And my 0.32MP is just what I use to run tests, normally run at 0.65MP then a 2.0 upscale with RTX & Refiner, no issues. Btw, still waiting for this workflow to progress to step 1/8 and it hasn't done it while writing this note, so a no go for me, unless I'm missing something.
dasiwa node pack ver 0.4.27+comfyui version 0.42.3 causes the following error: Advanced LoRA Loader is missing a required input: use_cache
Hi, completely remove node and install version 4.30, I just launched it myself!
I had the same issue. I installed 4.30 but the Lora node in that also had the same issue with the v18 workflow. I fixed it by wiring up a boolean primitve. There was a little pipe socket just in the top left corner of the node that accepted it. Not sure if it's just something with my ComfyUI, but connecting it seemed to accept it and stop throwing the error.
Upscaling Modes - RTX, Model, Simple, H3 Latent
Is chooes only ones or can multip?
and the Model where can search?
You can stack them if your rig is powerful enough. Model links are in the notes and on my page.
I encountered an error when using Latent Upscaler in version v18. I turned it off to generate normally, but the Latent Upscaler feature cannot be used

## Additional Context

You have an incompatible other "Director" node installed ...
@Darksidewalker I tried ref2va and it worked fine, but fl2va gave an error. Is fl2va not supported?
@meupHD fully supported
The problem is the Latent Upscaler node from https://github.com/LBH-123-AI/Comfyui_Minimax_h3_latent_Upscaler
It does not work with different latent scaled inputs like fl2va. You can make an Issue there.
Hi Darkside/ or anyone having this- im having a serious issue with the workflow here.. whenever i try to change the video duration located inside the director node, it gives me "Node widget error" inside of the node, and comfyui says : "can't access property "options", this is undefined"
it's making the whole workflow pretty much useless cause im just stuck with 5 seconds by default... i downloaded all the missing nodes from Comfy manager. but still no luck... help please??
Uninstall incompatible other "Director" nodes. Maybe.
Hi darkside is there a workflow instead create 30 sec long vid but also in 1 run make 3 video but seamless in 1 prompt?it Will help with low vram People like me
I would like to suggest a feature for REF2VA. I want to be able to hook up the image to ollama node so that it can generate a prompt based on the image used, and then be able to feed that prompt into the detailed_description and maybe even the other fields. The goal is to be able to generate it's own story based on the image.
That means the node would need to be able to have an output for image and it would need an input for prompt.
Just a suggestion, I know your busy and might want to keep the flow simplistic. Keep up the great work.
this seems like it would be a good feature for your workflow, been having good success with it myself. on github hradec/ComfyUI-HR-Endless-Sampler
