MINERAL INK — Engraved Illustration for KREA 2
A personal note
This is my very first LoRA, so please go easy on me! I’m still learning, but I’m honestly thrilled with the results I’ve been getting. I hope you’ll have as much fun experimenting with it as I have.
Feedback is welcome, and I’d love to see what you create with it.
MINERAL INK
Carved lines. Weathered paper. Deep ink and glowing earth tones.
Give your images the tactile character of an illustrated print: expressive contours, delicate hatching, textured surfaces, and colors that feel pressed into paper.
MINERAL INK brings an original engraving-inspired aesthetic to KREA 2. Warm ivory, charcoal black, deep teal, ochre, and vermilion form its signature palette, while your subject’s colors can still shape the result. Fur becomes intricate linework. Fabric gains a woven, printed feel. Flowers, machinery, and architecture acquire a rich graphic texture.
From a rose emerging through mist to a cyberpunk samurai, an astronaut holding the moon, or a dragon escaping a sketchbook, the style gives very different subjects a recognizable visual identity.
What to create
Explore atmospheric portraits, illustrated wildlife, botanical compositions, fantasy scenes, graphic science fiction, and richly textured landscapes. MINERAL INK is especially appealing when you want an image with strong drawing, substantial texture, and the presence of a collectible art print.

Trigger word : vtxmineral,
Use it with the official KREA 2 Turbo, and try out other models. Personally, that's the one I use.
MINERAL INK has a pronounced visual personality. At strength 1.0, it can reinterpret photographic or anime prompts as textured illustration and introduce richer scenery. Sparse backgrounds and strict minimalism may become more elaborate.
Use it when you want the engraving aesthetic to lead the image. If a particular background or medium matters, describe it clearly and adjust the strength to taste.
About this release
Version 1 was trained locally on KREA 2 RAW, using curated images created locally, 1,000 training steps, 1024 px training resolution, and LoRA rank 32. The example renders were generated with KREA 2 Turbo.
The comparison images demonstrate the visual transformation. Most pairs use different seeds, so they should be viewed as artistic comparisons rather than a controlled benchmark.
Share your results—and include your prompt and settings so others can explore the style with you.
Settings I used (recommended, but feel free to try others as well) :
Checkpoint : KREA 2 Turbo Official (or others)
Lora strength : 1.0 for my tests (try 0.75 - 1.15)
CFG : 1
Resolution: Set to 1024 pixels, but the results are superb up to:
2048 x 2048
1536 x 2048
Portrait or landscape and try all the others :)

For the images posted in the showcase gallery for this Lora, I used prompts shared by other artists in this wonderful community. It's hard to credit everyone, but if anyone recognizes their images, I want to thank and congratulate them!
