UPDATE: SmoothMix Illustrious 2XL +NoobAI v2
Can now reliably create very high quality images with low as 15 steps and 1.5 weights! Check the showcase for the images steps and weight used.
The Showcase have images created using Stable Diffusion Forge and ComfyUI, using both of my workflows.
Addressed a few of the issues learned from feedback. (Thank you again. These helps alot!)
Main issues:
Men are hard to make - Ok, so, since my focus in on the lovely ladies I must confess I neglected to check if men were actually possible to make lol. It should be much easier now.
The night and dark places are not dark enough - I'm trying to avoid the issue of oversaturation but I guess I went a little to far. Prompts that affect low ilumination like dark room, low light, dim light, should have stronger effects now. Increase their weight if you find it necessary: (dark room:1.5) like so.
Smooth Worksflow creates images that look very different from CivitAI with same prompt - This is addressed on a new Workflow version. Go check it out!

All my Illustrious Loras/Embeddings are compatible with NoobAI Checkpoints! Make sure to change your settings if you are using the CivitAI Site Generation!
When selecting Loras/Embeddings, go to this option:
And change it to Advanced Mode!
Recommended settings:
Steps: 15 ~ 30 - (Euler a/DPM++ 2M) - CFG: 1.5 ~ 3.5
Steps: 25 ~ 40 - (Euler a/DPM++ 2M) - CFG: 2.5 ~ 5

Anyone managed to create a good looking Tifa with Illustrious2+NoobAIv2? No matter which Lora I use she ends up having a weird ugly (slightly masculine?) face, definitely not like the actual character. Anyone managed to get good results?
I was having acceptable results with SmoothMix Illustrious v3 but just not this one.
I've put a comparison here. All parameters, prompt, lora, etc are the same:

To be sure I've also tried every variations of parameters and lora I could think of, but the baseline is an ugly Tifa and the rest is just lipstick on a pig I guess.
You are using way too much Negatives. You shouldn't do that in general especially if you are using Embeddings. Thats probably making the pictures worse.

Just 2 prompts (loli, underage) and 2 embeddings (SmoothNoob_Negative, SmoothNegative_Hands) on Negative.
@Qvoheu thanks I didn't think that the negatives could affect the image that way, I'll remove most of them now.
Your image looks much better than mine however the face is still not really Tifa somehow. It's as if the checkpoint was "taking over" to render the face and the Lora has only a little effect on it.
I don't observe this with other checkpoints. With SmoothMix Illustrious v3 for instance her face looks like the real character
Just for further information, it's equally challenging to get Lara Croft to actually look like herself with the Noob2 variant, while it's easy with the Illv3 variant. I think the checkpoint may be good for certain usages but not for what I'm doing. Illustrious v3 is brilliant though so thank you so much for sharing it!
I have found the same sort of thing that others here have commented on regarding the latest IL+NAI v2 merge - female faces are overly masculine and do not produce good looking results even when using character LoRAs.
Smooth Mix IL v3 and Smooth Mix IL+NAI v1 generate much nicer looking female faces.
Note that my prompts (pos and neg) usually contain mostly body-shaping tags along with some negatives to mitigate undesired effects like creepy smiles, overly wide mouth and the like. I (usually) make use of the appropriate Smooth embeddings.
On the one hand the new V2 can generate males, so to quote a pastel equine: yay! On the other hand, getting good generation using LoRAs is a lot harder. DMD2 is dead for this, but so are Velvet's, hell, even Smooth Detailer isn't having the easiest of time, and I'm talking solo LoRA usage here. But overall this is a step in the right direction. Kudos

By far my favorite checkpoint on the site. The added additional resources make it incredibly easy to make stunning art! Thank you for putting this together.
(Illustrious2+NoobAI) v2 kinda sucks, things are too dark as if contrast was turned to 11 and at times it adds too much details that were never there initially which just ruins the image. Overall it's good BUT also it's overdetailed/overdesigned which makes it harder to make clean and simple images.
I guess some examples of prompts and images would help understand your case.

In a few hours, Smooth Mix Illustrious v.4, NoobAI v.3 and Illustrious2+NoobAI v.3 will be available on their own pages on early access. I really hope you guys like it. There will be quite a few images to check out. (over 200) ^^

Is your Illustrious2 + NoobAI going to be available in the long, foreseeable future? I like the stylalization of that particular version.
All Checkpoints in this page will be available for download and for bidding to be used on the site generation.
Illustrious v.2 is definitely my favorite. I get results with it that I can't even come close to with any other checkpoint.
It's a shame that the Auction system ended up limiting the use of good checkpoint like this one.
