Do you know that there is a native VAE that is 2x times smaller that this one? (on Hugginface official FLUX modelpage, both Dev and Schnell ...)

I am very impressed by this new model, it creates very high quality images and doesnt seem to have trouble with the kind of artifacts you usually see in SD. It also seems somewhat capable of NSFW out of the box, tho it will fight you all the way.

Doesn't the fp8 .safetensors checkpoint go into the checkpoints folder (instead of unet)? at least its written on the comfyUI page for FLUX: "Simple to use FP8 Checkpoint version

You can find an easy to use checkpoint for the Flux dev here that you can put in your: ComfyUI/models/checkpoints/ directory.

This file can be loaded with the regular "Load Checkpoint" node."

I'm able to churn out 1024x1024 images every 60 seconds with this on a 32gb ram, 12th gen i7, nvidia 3080 10gb vram machine. new to comfyui so thanks for the workflow as a starting point. i have made some alterations on mine to try and capture metadata for civitai. cheers.
