Главные дополнения v6.5 — Scenario from description и Continue here.

Saved chains.

Scenario from description —

Scenario from description.
Generate scenario.
Validate & apply.

11 · Video & Continuity → Continuation method → LAST FRAME.
Continue here.
GENERATE NEXT → Run.

LAST FRAME появился в v6.1 и сохранён в v6.5.

Audio continuity —

Audio only / Paired audio / Separate audio / No audio,
Generate draft → Validate & apply.
HQ Finish: OFF / UPSCALE / UPSCALE + REFINE, FULL / TILED / AUTO,

GENERATE NEXT
Saved chains
Recover project
Clean unused
New film.

RefMod Studio

Native Cache

Native Cache.

Сохраните проекты в output/longforge_native/.
Ctrl+F5.
Scenario from description.

Результаты: output/longforge_native/<project>/exports/.

Файлы обычно сохраняются в models/refmods/longforge/.

Check mapping.

English

Create long MiniMax H3 videos with audio: plan a story, generate scenes, continue from a chosen moment, select takes and assemble the film in one editable ComfyUI workflow.

The package includes a custom Node Pack, a main workflow supporting FL2VA / REF2VA, and a universal RefMod Studio. Controls use English labels; Russian and English instructions are built into both workflows.

The main v6.5 additions are Scenario from description and Continue here. Prepare multiple scene cards from one idea, or continue a saved scene from a selected point. PROTECTED / GUIDE / LAST FRAME, projects, references, HQ and export remain available.

What changed since v6.1

A scenario from one description. Scenario from description prepares 1–16 new scenes with names, actions, camera directions and sound. Enter an idea and the total duration of the new scenes, then review the cards before applying them.
Editable scenario cards. Change each new scene's name, prompt and duration before Validate & apply. The saved part of the film stays in place. If other pending cards follow the scenario, the interface lets you keep or remove them.
Updated scenario writer. Improved response parsing, field-name typo handling, Shot numbering and local timestamps. Automatic corrections are listed in the report. Retries rewrite rejected cards with accepted neighbouring scenes supplied as context; accepted text is preserved.
Shorter assistant requests. The shared idea is sent once, and targeted retries carry instructions for the cards being corrected. This reduces input text; actual speed depends on the model and hardware.
Continue from a selected point. Continue here creates a shortened take from a saved scene and lets you continue from the selected frame using LAST FRAME. Shortening runs no diffusion; the previous chain remains in Saved chains.
Fixed the sampling-to-preview boundary. DynamicVRAM state is cleaned up before decoding inside the node. Removed unconditional unloading of all models before every preview, which could force another load for the next scene. A decode out-of-memory error allows one retry after unloading.
Fixed RefMod sampling-step curves. Resolved the inference-tensor crash. The blur cache now detects changes across all reference values, including permutations, without the previous sums-and-norm fingerprint.
Assistant backend fixes. Images beyond the vision limit are no longer loaded unnecessarily; GGUF resources are released when model loading fails. SERVER address checks and HTTP API-key handling have been strengthened.
Updated editor and instructions. Revised labels and layout, with exact English control names in Russian notes. Removed the extra duration field from the main editor: ordinary scenes use Video & Continuity, while scenario cards retain their individual durations.

Scenario from description — from an idea to scene cards

Configure 16 · Prompt Assistant. For NATIVE, select a separate generation-capable Gemma 4 in 16a · Assistant text model and enable its loader. TRANSFORMERS / GGUF / OLLAMA / SERVER are also available.
Set a project name in 10 · Project & Scenes, then open Scenario from description.
Enter the idea, choose 1–16 new scenes and their total duration, then click Generate scenario.
Review each card's name, action, camera, sound and duration. Edit as needed and click Validate & apply.
Generate the video separately with GENERATE NEXT → Run. ONE SCENE generates the next scene; ALL PENDING generates all remaining scenes, saving each one.

Scenario generation does not start video generation. Film cards are not replaced until you apply the draft. Durations follow the native H3 grid; validation shows the effective values.

Vision can supply available images for the first new card; future scenes do not exist yet. The assistant does not listen to audio. Review generated scenarios before running the film.

Continue here — continue from a chosen frame

Open a saved project and select 11 · Video & Continuity → Continuation method → LAST FRAME.
Load Preview scene, pause at the desired point and click Continue here.
Check the displayed frame and time. The point snaps backward to a valid H3 boundary; an early point may be rejected if it leaves insufficient context.
Confirm the shortened take, review the next card and use GENERATE NEXT → Run.

Base video, HQ and audio are shortened together into a new take. Later scenes become pending if a middle scene is shortened. The previous film remains in Saved chains; required source takes are protected from cleanup while the active film needs them.

A scene shortened this way can be continued only with LAST FRAME. PROTECTED and GUIDE stop with an explanation. To continue from an ordinary scene endpoint, use GENERATE NEXT directly.

Three video continuation methods

MethodWhat carries over from the preceding scenePROTECTEDThe video-latent tail is copied and protected with a mask.GUIDEThe video-latent tail supplies native guidance. Hidden context is regenerated, then the original prefix is restored before storage.LAST FRAMEOne final decoded RGB frame from the base video. H3 encodes it through the Video VAE; the existing video-latent tail is not transferred into generation.

Choose the method in 11 · Video & Continuity → Continuation method. LAST FRAME was introduced in v6.1 and remains in v6.5. Scene 1 is generated normally because no previous frame exists yet.

GUIDE carries motion, appearance, colour and lighting. No method guarantees exact identity preservation, freedom from drift or invisible joins.

Audio continuity is a separate setting:

HARD protects the copied audio prefix.
SOFT allows its final 100/200 ms to be reworked.
OFF disables protected audio context but does not mute generated sound.

22F in LAST FRAME does not mean 22 reference images. It is hidden context for timeline and audio alignment. One image is supplied, hidden video is generated afresh, and preview/export trim the hidden section.

Start with MANUAL / 22F / HARD if desired. Ordinary references and RefMods follow their own independent settings.

Main features

Duration: WINDOW FRAMES sets the full window, including overlap; NEW SECONDS targets the new visible portion. Native H3 grid rounding applies. For example, 158F / 24 FPS ≈ 6.58 s; with 22F overlap, the new part is ≈ 5.67 s. Scene 1 has no preceding overlap.
Import an existing video: 18 · Source Video → IMPORT VIDEO in an empty project creates Scene 1 for continuation. CONTAIN / CROP and normalization to 24 FPS and the H3 grid are available. Both VAEs are required; import runs neither diffusion nor the text encoder. Source pixels are VAE-reconstructed.
Reference media: images, video and audio, Open / trim, Start/End, Audio only / Paired audio / Separate audio / No audio, reference roles and presets. Roles, Character group and Keep/Drop help the assistant write prompts; they do not directly modify H3 tensors. Presets store settings and paths without embedding source media.
Single-scene Prompt Assistant: NATIVE / TRANSFORMERS / GGUF / OLLAMA / SERVER, selected images and the previous scene tail with a suitable vision model, and 1–8 shots within a scene. Generate draft → Validate & apply. Ordinary film Run does not start an LLM. NATIVE requires a generation-capable Gemma 4, not the H3 conditioning encoder.
HQ Finish: OFF / UPSCALE / UPSCALE + REFINE, FULL / TILED / AUTO, spatial tiles, temporal windows and a memory budget. Continuation uses the base scene before HQ. AUTO estimates memory usage but does not eliminate OOM risk.
Export: MP4 / MKV / WEBM, compatible H264 / HEVC / AV1 / VP9 combinations, CPU and available hardware encoders, AUTO with CPU fallback, and a compatible H264 MP4 preview. RIFE/FILM interpolation runs at final export: ×2 → 48 FPS, ×4 → 96 FPS. The 10-bit option does not create HDR from RGB8; interpolation may introduce artifacts at hard cuts.

Projects, takes and scene protection

GENERATE NEXT on a completed film does not regenerate anything. Add a card or explicitly choose regeneration.
Saved chains restores a saved film version without generating again, including continuations saved just before an interrupted run.
Recover project rebuilds the film pointer from verified files when an intact saved chain is available.
Before regenerating the middle of a film, a warning explains that later scenes will leave the active chain and remain on disk.
Clean unused protects saved chains and continuations; removing them requires separate confirmation.
New film resets the active film and keeps takes; Delete film removes the project. A stale Restore cannot undo a fresh New film action.

Seam Lab inspects joins and compares compatible takes. Export uses continuous audio decoding, optional click repair and Diagnostic WAVs.

RefMod Studio and saved references

RefMods store image, video or audio VAE latents in .safetensors. They do not train H3 weights or a LoRA. One file may contain multiple independent references.

FULL retains the encoded latent at the selected resolution; source pixels are not stored losslessly.
COMPRESSED reduces token cost at the expense of detail, with optional refinement.
INDEPENDENT / STACK / MERGE: separate members, temporal stacking or a combined compressed reference. MERGE requires COMPRESSED and may blend poses, faces and backgrounds.
Image/video/audio/mixed bundles, masks, previews, token reports, repacking, saved configurations and curves.
Member selection, separate visual/audio strengths, copies and the A/B axis. Up to 8 library files and 256 members per file are structural limits; practical capacity depends on tokens and memory.

{refmod:hero} addresses the selected members of a file aliased hero; {refmod:hero_1} and subsequent names address individual selected members. Check mapping shows the exact labels. A file alias does not merge several views into a single reference.

Saved latents are reused without repeating source VAE encoding; visual RefMods may still be decoded for vision/text conditioning. Frame curves act within the reference; sampling-step curves act during denoising. They do not schedule a character's appearance in film seconds. Lower strength does not reduce token count; identity and voice fidelity depend on the model's output.

RefMods require REF2VA, start disabled and support per-scene INHERIT / OFF / CUSTOM selection. Ordinary media policy in 11 and RefMod policy in 17 are independent.

Native Cache and metadata

Native Cache requires 07 · Turbo LoRA to be bypassed. An active node 07 disables caching regardless of filename, strength or step count. Route accelerating LoRAs through 07; 08 · Extra LoRA is for ordinary LoRAs. Another active cache or RefMod sampling-step curves also disable Native Cache.

NONE / RECOVERY: export without embedded settings or with recovery data. RECOVERY does not replace a project backup. The SERVER key uses LONGFORGE_LLM_API_KEY and is not stored in the workflow.

Installation and quick start

Close ComfyUI and replace the entire folder at ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-H3-LongForge-NodePack/. Keep projects under output/longforge_native/.
Install the node pack's requirements.txt using ComfyUI's Python environment. Restart ComfyUI and refresh the browser with Ctrl+F5.
Open the main workflow, select the H3 checkpoint, H3 text encoder and both VAEs. Match Pipeline to the model.
Enter a unique project name. Write prompts manually or prepare cards with Scenario from description.
Choose a continuation method and use GENERATE NEXT → Run. Assemble saved scenes with EXPORT FILM → Run.

Results: output/longforge_native/<project>/exports/.

For RefMods, open Studio, add sources, choose CREATE, source kind, mode and layout, then enable Run Studio action → Run. Turn the switch off afterwards. Files normally save under models/refmods/longforge/.

Preview saved members with INSPECT → stored → preview_index, starting at 0. The black 64 × 64 image after CREATE is a placeholder. In the film workflow, enable RefMod Library, set an alias and confirm labels with Check mapping.

Use a matching Node Pack and workflow version after updating. Back up important project folders before working on them.
