About this lora

This is a lora's purpose is to re-create the style of the 2003 show Teen Titans. It can also re-create any character that appears in the show. See the bottom of the description for how to prompt the characters.

You do not need to prompt in anything regarding the style, the lora will do that on its own. If it doesn't trigger try adding "animated" to the end of prompt as a last resort.

Use trigger "TeenTitansStyle" and optionally you can use the character tag such as "char_raven" or "char_CHARACTERNAME" to help trigger the characters. Though there isn't any evidence it will help.

Dataset

Note: if you wanna know in detail how I prepare and trained this lora, check out my anime style guide. The process is the same.

605 images (585 SFW images, 20 NSFW images), 120 video clips all from the show. The image dataset is the same exact images/captions from the QWEN lora previous trained. The images are 512x resolution and the videos are 256x resolution. I let DP pick the aspect ratio automatically.

This time I used pyscene to split out the video clips from the raw data, but I had it also only split them out in 50 frames per clip. It resulted in a lot of multiple clips of the same scene, but it made prepping the dataset super easy. It also had a issue where the first frame in each clip randomly would be from the previous scene. I couldn't be bothered to figure it out so I just didnt used those clips with that issue. Also some clips had encoding issues and to be safe I also didn't use those clips.

To caption both the images and videos I used a custom web app that I vibe coded using google AI studio. If you wanna make one yourself its very simple. Feed it my anime style guide as a PDF (linked in the suggested resources for this model). And describe the UI like the screenshot linked here. Using this web app I was able to stream line everything. I captioning took around 5 minutes, and I did not even modify the captions provided except 1 or 2 of them. I'd like to share the app but it seems its linked to my google api account and I can't afford the cost of it being public so you can make your own.

I'm not sharing any tensor graphs because honestly I think those don't matter anymore for wan 2.2. I reference them to make sure the high model is trending downward at a rapid pace, and the low model is zig-zagging up and down but at a downward trend. I think I looked at them a total of like 4 times when training.

Training

I trained using my default settings in diffusion pipe. 512x for images and 256x for videos. And let DP pick the aspect ratio.

Converting the dataset to 16fps made the 50 frames videos to 35 frames per clip and all clips had the same # of frames (35). This combined with low resolution resulted in VERY efficient training time. I was getting around 1500 steps per hour. I was able to train both the high and low to around 30K steps each in 2 days. I had a working an usable lora at around 17K steps in 1 day of training locally on my 3090. But I decided to keep going (especially on the high) because I think it could be a little closer to the style. If you think its over trained let me know and I will share the 17K step version of the high and low. FYI I used around 20GB of VRAM when training.

Using this new way of captioning the dataset and collecting the clips I was able to streamline the process. I think you can get a fully working style lora in around 24 hours and with very little manual work beyond selecting your images and videos.

Settings

Every example here was generated using the 250928-dyno-lightx2v high MODEL + 250928 low LORA on dpm++_sde (shift at 5 on both). Just use my example workflow if unsure. I did make sure it works without the speed up loras, but I am starting to get agnostic at this point on using them. Just use them with higher resolution versus vanilla even if the style is slightly altered. They are getting better at making the lightx loras for wan 2.2 recently and the motion issue they had is mostly resolved. Sometimes the lightx loras will make it so the style isn't triggered, its rare but just modify your prompt a bit and try some other seeds if that happens.

Result

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with how this one turned out. It was my first "factory assembly line" approach to a lora. It could've been a bit better but I wanted to see how fast I could turn this one out and I think its 90% of the way there. My stance is still the same, that a style lora will not work well as a character lora. Yes you can prompt in all the characters but you still are better off training individual character loras for each character and combining them with the style lora here. There is some issues on characters with pupils since many characters in this style don't. If I had cared enough I should've cleaned up captioning to address this. You can fix in the prompting though.

Warning, this is primarily a style lora. You will have better results recreating the characters by using a character lora with this style lora together. Its very hit or miss. Reference the captions file in the training data attachments for more info.

Raven

Character Tag: char_raven
Primary Outfit: A dark blue (or dark purple) hooded cloak fastened with a gold circular brooch with a red center, over a black sleeveless (or long-sleeved) leotard, with a gold belt adorned with red gems.
Appearance: pale gray skin, short dark purple hair with a widow's peak (or V-shape), purple eyes, a small red gem on her forehead.

Starfire

Character Tag: char_starfire
Primary Outfit: A purple two-piece outfit consisting of a purple sleeveless crop top and a purple miniskirt, a silver metal gorget (or collar) with a green gem, a silver belt with a circular buckle, silver gauntlets, and purple thigh-high boots.
Appearance: orange skin (or tan-orange skin), long straight red (or magenta) hair, large solid green eyes without pupils.

Robin

Character Tag: char_robin
Primary Outfit: A red tunic (or red short-sleeved top) with a yellow "R" emblem, green sleeves, green leggings, a yellow cape with a black interior, a yellow utility belt, green gloves, and black boots.
Appearance: spiky black hair, black domino mask, black domino mask with white lenses.

Cyborg

Character Tag: char_cyborg
Primary Outfit: His body is his outfit. Use descriptions like: a muscular man whose body is composed of silver, grey, and white metal plating; blue and dark grey armor with glowing blue circuits on his shoulders, arms, and legs. His arm can be described as a large cylindrical sonic cannon.
Appearance: dark skin (or brown skin), the left side of his face is covered in metal plating, one human eye, one red glowing cybernetic eye.

Beast Boy

Character Tag: char_beastboy
Primary Outfit: A black and magenta (or black and purple) suit with a high collar, a grey utility belt, and grey gloves.
Appearance: green skin, pointed ears, short green hair (or spiky dark green hair), fangs.

Terra
