В 09 · Native Cache → Cache method доступны OFF / OUTPUT / BLOCK:

Начните с BLOCK без VEDA и сравните одинаковый seed с OFF, одной VEDA и BLOCK + VEDA.

Перезапустите ComfyUI, нажмите Ctrl+F5 и откройте H3_LongForge_FL2VA_REF2VA_v7.1.json.
Результаты: output/longforge_native/<project>/exports/.

Оставить удачный фрагмент без перегенерации — Preview scene → Trim for export → Set In / Set Out или номера First / Last frame → Apply trim → EXPORT FILM → Run.

Укоротить сцену и продолжить от нового конца — Только LAST FRAME: Preview scene → нужная точка → Continue here → проверить следующую карточку → GENERATE NEXT → Run.

Saved chains.

В 16 доступны NATIVE / TRANSFORMERS / GGUF / OLLAMA / SERVER.

RefMod Studio. Есть mixed bundles, маски, превью, token reports, перепаковка, strengths, кривые и A/B.

Файлы — обычно models/refmods/longforge/; просмотр — INSPECT → stored → preview_index, с 0.

ComfyUI Model Sparse Attention.
HQ Finish · 13: OFF / UPSCALE / UPSCALE + REFINE, FULL / TILED / AUTO,

English

LongForge builds long MiniMax H3 videos scene by scene: planning, prompts, generation with audio, continuation, take selection, editing, HQ and export. Includes a custom Node Pack, the FL2VA / REF2VA main workflow and RefMod Studio. Controls use English labels; both workflows contain full RU/EN guides.

New in 7.1

Scene thumbnails. Scene cards show the saved take's first visible frame, making the film easier to navigate without opening every video. Thumbnails update after regeneration, project changes and chain restoration. Older projects use their saved preview; if none exists, click Preview scene. With Scene previews disabled, a thumbnail becomes available after creating that preview. Trim for export does not change it; images are not embedded in workflows.

Two cache methods in one node. 09 · Native Cache → Cache method offers OFF / OUTPUT / BLOCK:

OUTPUT — Can reuse the full model output, with independent video/audio checks. Retains the 7.0 algorithm, profiles and guards. At least 16 steps, CFG 1, 07 · Turbo LoRA and 08a · VEDA bypassed.

BLOCK — Experimental cache adapted from T8. Computes the first block and, when differences are small enough, reuses cached changes from the remaining blocks. At least 4 steps, CFG 1, Euler / RES multistep / RES multistep CFG++. Turbo is allowed; VEDA needs explicit permission.

OFF — Passes MODEL through without installing a cache. Baseline comparison.

Both methods require LongForge Render preflight. Another active cache, incompatible patches or RefMod sampling-step curves can disable caching. OUTPUT also rejects stochastic samplers and unknown Turbo state. Connect accelerating LoRAs through 07, ordinary LoRAs through 08 · Extra LoRA.

BLOCK controls are fully manual. Threshold, schedule window, reuse limit, CPU/GPU storage and metric stride are directly editable, without presets. Defaults and ranges are listed below. OUTPUT profiles remain available.

No separate T8 installation is needed. Cached tensors are cleared after each scene, including on error. Older 7.0 workflows keep OUTPUT; previous 7.1 BLOCK presets migrate to their effective numeric settings, while CUSTOM retains entered values.

Start with BLOCK without VEDA. Compare the same seed against OFF, VEDA alone and BLOCK + VEDA. Short schedules may yield no benefit: active True · reused 0/N means the cache was enabled but reused nothing. BLOCK and BLOCK + VEDA are experimental; speed gains and unchanged quality are not guaranteed.

Stability fixes. Corrected BLOCK prefetch cleanup for ComfyUI 0.42.5, damaged import-cache/media-list handling and restoration of a selected take's individual duration in Seam Lab. RefMod tooltips and the Ollama address were corrected. All 7.0 features, including Trim for export, remain available.

Installation and your first film

Stop ComfyUI. Install or replace the entire ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-H3-LongForge-NodePack/ folder. Keep and back up projects in output/longforge_native/.
Install requirements.txt using ComfyUI's Python. The complete template also needs external ComfyUI-KJNodes and Veda-on-ComfyUI, with their dependencies. Commands and links are below. Separate T8 and original RefMod installations are unnecessary.
Restart ComfyUI, refresh with Ctrl+F5, then open H3_LongForge_FL2VA_REF2VA_v7.1.json. Select the H3 checkpoint, matching text encoder and both VAEs in 01–04; match FL2VA / REF2VA in 11 to the model.
Bypass 05–06 with Ctrl+B if compatible SageAttention is unavailable. VEDA (08a) and Live Preview (04a) can be bypassed independently. Bypass does not install missing node types. 09 · Native Cache starts bypassed; enable it with Ctrl+B and select a method to use caching.
Set a unique project name and prompts in 10 · Project & Scenes. GENERATE NEXT → Run creates the next scene; ONE SCENE / ALL PENDING selects one or all pending scenes, saving each.
EXPORT FILM → Run assembles the active film. Results: output/longforge_native/<project>/exports/.

The template starts with 20 steps and Turbo LoRA bypassed. Enable a compatible LoRA in 07 and follow its recommended settings for Turbo. VEDA does not reduce the step count or replace Turbo.

More LongForge features

Video and audio continuation. 11 · Video & Continuity offers PROTECTED — copied video-latent tail with a protective mask; GUIDE — tail guidance; LAST FRAME — one final decoded RGB frame from the base video. Audio is independent: HARD / SOFT / OFF protects the audio prefix, allows its ending to change, or disables protected context while retaining audio generation. Start with MANUAL / 22F / HARD. In LAST FRAME, 22F defines hidden context, not 22 input images. Exact identity and invisible joins are not guaranteed.

Duration: WINDOW FRAMES includes overlap; NEW SECONDS targets the new visible part. H3-grid rounding applies; Scene 1 has no preceding overlap. ALL PENDING checks the queue in advance, but AUTO depends on future scenes too, so a stop between scenes remains possible.

Keep the best part without regeneration — Preview scene → Trim for export → Set In / Set Out or First / Last frame numbers → Apply trim → EXPORT FILM → Run. Frame numbers start at 1, both endpoints included; Reset trim restores the full range.

Shorten a scene and continue from its new endpoint — LAST FRAME only: Preview scene → desired point → Continue here → review the next card → GENERATE NEXT → Run. The point snaps backward to an H3 boundary; excessively early points are refused.

Inspect joins and compare A/B takes — Seam Lab, for films with two or more scenes. Selecting another take makes later scenes pending; the previous chain remains in Saved chains.

Trim cuts video and audio only during export, keeping full takes, previews and continuation context. Per-take edits live in export_trim.json; new takes start full length. Continue here creates a shortened video/HQ/audio take while retaining the original chain. Trimming does not create smooth transitions; interpolation does not bridge removed intervals.

Projects and versions. Open project / Saved chains opens projects and saved chains; Recover project rebuilds the pointer from intact verified files. New film resets the active film while retaining ordinary cards and takes; imported cards become blank. Delete all leaves Scene 1 and retains files. Clean unused removes unused files, with separate confirmation for saved chains; Delete film removes the entire project folder. Regenerating the middle warns about later scenes. GENERATE NEXT on a completed film does not regenerate it.

Planning and Prompt Assistant. Scenario from description creates 1–16 new scenes from an idea and total duration; Generate draft writes one scene, optionally with 1–8 shots. 16 supports NATIVE / TRANSFORMERS / GGUF / OLLAMA / SERVER. NATIVE needs a separate generation-capable LLM, such as Gemma 4 in 16a, rather than H3's encoder. Local models and vision projections belong in models/llm/. Compatible vision models can inspect selected images and the previous scene tail, without listening to audio. The assistant reports repairs and retries rejected cards. Cards stay unchanged until Apply; saved scenes remain. A normal film Run does not invoke an LLM.

Import and references. 18 · Source Video → IMPORT VIDEO in an empty project makes the source Scene 1; continue in Scene 2. Includes CONTAIN / CROP and 24 FPS/H3-grid normalization. Both VAEs are required; diffusion and the text encoder do not run. This is VAE reconstruction, not original pixels 1:1. Imported Scene 1 cannot be remade through ordinary generation. Ordinary image/video/audio references support trimming, audio modes and presets without source files. Roles, Character group and Keep/Drop guide the assistant without directly changing H3 tensors.

RefMod Studio. Saved image/video/audio VAE latents in .safetensors, without training or LoRAs. Requires REF2VA; RefMods start disabled, with per-scene INHERIT / OFF / CUSTOM. FULL / COMPRESSED retain selected-resolution latents or save tokens at the cost of detail. INDEPENDENT / STACK / MERGE means separate members, temporal stacking or a combined compressed reference; MERGE requires COMPRESSED and may blend appearance and backgrounds. Includes mixed bundles, masks, previews, token reports, repacking, strengths, curves and A/B. Capacity depends on memory and tokens; lower strength does not reduce token cost. Curves do not schedule character appearances in film time.

Create: RefMod_Studio_v7.1.json → sources and both VAEs → CREATE → Run Studio action → Run, then disable the switch. Files normally save in models/refmods/longforge/; inspect with INSPECT → stored → preview_index, starting at 0. The black image after CREATE is a placeholder. Labels {refmod:hero} / {refmod:hero_1} and Check mapping select file members or individual members; details are in the embedded guide.

VEDA, preview, HQ and export

VEDA · 08a: match the predictor to FL2VA / REF2VA; filenames are below. Start with 32 / 32, empty full-attention lists and verbose = false. 32 is a budget of 128-token key tiles, not 32%. Compare the same seed with VEDA bypassed using Ctrl+B. Do not combine it with ComfyUI Model Sparse Attention.
Live Preview · 04a: approximate sampling progress; Preview scene decodes a saved result. Defaults to one frame without audio. Select a compatible H3 tiny VAE from models/vae_approx/, or use ComfyUI's preview settings without one. Animation and audio add work. Do not connect the main H3 Video VAE to the KJ node's LTX vae input.
HQ Finish · 13: OFF / UPSCALE / UPSCALE + REFINE, FULL / TILED / AUTO, spatial tiles, temporal windows and a memory budget. Requires a compatible 3D latent upscaler. Exact width/height must be set together, be multiples of 32, preserve aspect ratio and not shrink either axis; both 0 use Scale. Settings stay fixed within a film. Continuation uses base AV latents; the HQ-refiner branch excludes VEDA/Turbo. AUTO does not eliminate OOM.
Export · 19–20: MP4 / MKV / WEBM, compatible H264 / HEVC / AV1 / VP9 combinations, CPU or available hardware encoders, AUTO with CPU fallback. RIFE / FILM run at final export: ×2 → 48 FPS, ×4 → 96 FPS, preserving duration and audio. Includes continuous audio decoding, optional click repair and Diagnostic WAVs. Hard cuts may produce artifacts; 10 bit does not create HDR from RGB8.

NONE / RECOVERY exports without embedded settings or with recovery data, including the edit map. RECOVERY is not a backup: retain the whole project folder to move a film and its local trims. Previous exports remain on disk.
