Pull it negative and statues become people.That was the plan, anyway.Then the garden gnomes woke up.This LoRA can turn generated people into stone, marble and other sculptural materials; bring classical statues back to life; humanize mannequins; reinterpret paintings as sculpture; animate stone animals and ornaments; transform relief sculpture; and apparently reenact both Ovid's Pygmalion and Mannequin (1987), depending on how cultured you're feeling.It is less a stone texture slider than a surprisingly semantic represented/artificial ↔ living transformation. Composition, clothing, ornament, pose and even recognizable visual structure can survive the transition, particularly through img2img.<h3 id="stone-something">🗿 STONE SOMETHING</h3>txt2img: Start around +2.+2 usually produces a clear sculptural subject. Increasing the weight strengthens the statue interpretation. Around +5 and beyond, the effect increasingly becomes stylized rather than simply “more stone.”img2img: For an existing living subject, +2 to +3 is a good working range, with approximately 0.3–0.6 denoise.Lower denoise preserves identity/composition more aggressively. Higher denoise gives the model enough freedom to rebuild anatomy, clothing and detail as actual sculpture.Material words are useful. Adding terms such as marble, limestone, alabaster, obsidian, bronze, lapis, jade, etc. can steer what the resulting sculpture appears to be made from.This can produce particularly interesting results with elaborate clothing, jewelry, tattoos and ornament: those features may be reinterpreted as carving, relief, inlay or decorative sculptural detail rather than simply disappearing.<h3 id="unstone-something">🫀 UNSTONE SOMETHING</h3>img2img: Use approximately -1.Denoise depends strongly on how figurative the source sculpture already is.A highly lifelike classical statue may begin coming alive around 0.3 denoise. More abstract sculpture—ancient fertility figures, stylized idols, garden ornaments and similar objects—may need something closer to 0.5 before the model has enough freedom to construct a plausible living subject.When humanizing, describe the intended result as an ordinary person / woman / man / living subject rather than continually insisting that it is a statue. Let the image provide the sculptural structure while the prompt describes where you want it to go.Stone animals, foo dogs, garden statues, carved flowers and other clearly sculptural objects can also respond surprisingly well.<h3 id="art-sculpture">🎨 ART → SCULPTURE</h3>img2img can reinterpret existing artwork as sculpture while retaining substantial composition and colour organization. Polychrome sculpture is very much on the table.Likewise, scenes can sometimes become relief sculpture, not merely individual stone subjects. Explicit “bas-relief” language can help steer this, although the LoRA can produce relief-like transformations without it.<h3 id="known-quirks">🐺 KNOWN QUIRKS</h3>Living subjects dominated by fur, feathers or other strong surface texture resist petrification considerably more than humans do. Wolves eventually surrendered at sufficiently high positive weights.
