One prompt → one song → a two-scene music video (YuE2 × MiniMax H3)

Score to Screen v5.9 Simple — changes since v5.8.1💾 The analysis is kept with the song and used again (v5.9)What you can do now

Pick a pre-made song and the 🎞 Timeline shows its analysis at once, no run needed (laid out with the current start and scene lengths)

"🔎 Analyse this song" on the Timeline: the whole song is analysed and kept (🎤 where the singing starts, 🥁 every drum hit, 🎹 piano key strikes, 🎻 when the strings are heard), with no LLM and no H3. Press it once for a new song and fix the lanes by hand straight away ("🔎 Analyse again" for an analysed song)

The same song again, with any start and any scene lengths: the scenes are cut from the saved analysis, so STRUM / Demucs don't run again (the 🎼 report says "from the saved song analysis")

Hand edits (🎤 singing / 🎻 strings spans, 🥁 drums come in, 🎤 singing starts) are saved with the song: they come back when the song is picked again (also in a freshly opened workflow), and come off when you pick another song

Everything is saved next to the song as <song name>.s2s.json (a copy goes to
output/
score2screen_songs/). Copy it along with the song and its .abc, and it works on another PC too

Kept apart, never mixed

One score, several recordings: a new render of the same score (another vocals seed) is told apart by its file and its sound, and keeps its own analysis and hand edits

A song file overwritten under the same name counts as another song (the old hand edits come off and stay with the old recording)

The timeline never mixes scenes of two recordings, and an old run from before v5.9 does not override a song's saved analysis

Honest about what it knows

Parts the saved analysis does not cover show a grey "not analysed" in that lane

Analysing again replaces the older analysis of that stretch (when STRUM fails and Demucs is used, the old STRUM hits don't stay)

When a re-analysis fails completely, the older analysis stays, dimmed and labelled "⚠ older analysis (the latest one failed)"

Safer to use

"🔎 Analyse this song" goes into ComfyUI's queue, so it never shares the GPU with a running workflow ("⏳ queued…" until its turn)

A hand-edit window that starts before the song (scene 1 with a song delay) starts at 0; a window that can't be read is never applied to the whole song

Note: a pre-made song needs its .abc (score) next to it to be analysed.Custom nodes in this download: ComfyUI-PromptSplitter v3.2, ComfyUI-ABCTiming v2.45, ComfyUI-ABCInstrumentalize v1.4, ComfyUI-ABCScoreIO v1.39.
