# 🎨 DALL-E 3 Aesthetic / Painterly Semi-Realism [Illustrious-XL]Bring that iconic, luminous DALL-E 3 digital concept art aesthetic to your Illustrious-XL generations! Trained on a curated dataset of high-fidelity painterly illustrations, this LoRA transforms flat 2D anime cel-shading into rich, volumetric, semi-realistic art—complete with glowing rim lighting, soft subsurface skin tones, fine hair strands, and delicate brush textures while eliminating harsh black ink outlines.---### ✨ What It Does:- 🌟 Volumetric & Rim Lighting: Beautiful golden-hour backlighting, lens blooms, and warm ambient light falloff.- 🖌️ Soft Painterly Brushwork: Replaces hard cartoon cel-shading with smooth, rich color gradients.- 💫 Zero Flat Outlines: Softens heavy vector ink lines into natural painted edges.- 🎭 Fully Compatible with Character LoRAs: Stack it with your favorite anime or manhwa characters without losing their signature face or hair design.---### ⚙️ Recommended Generation Settings| Setting | Value || :--- | :--- || Trigger Word |
dlle_paint
|| LoRA Weight |
0.75 - 0.85
(Portrait / Half-body) <br>
0.65 - 0.75
(Full-body / Complex scenery) || Base Model | Illustrious-XL v0.1 / JANKU / NoobAI XL || Sampler |
Euler a
or
DPM++ 2M Karras
|| Steps | 26 – 30 || CFG Scale | 4.0 – 4.5 ⚠️ (Keep strictly around 4.0; Illustrious burns/oversaturates above 5.5) || Clip Skip |
2
|| Recommended Res |
832 x 1216
(Portrait) or
1024 x 1024
(Square) |---### 💡 Pro-Tip: Fixing Full-Body / Distant Faces with ADetailerBecause this style uses soft, painterly shading, small faces in wide or full-body shots can sometimes appear softer than intended. 👉 The Instant Fix (ADetailer):1. Enable ADetailer in Forge / WebUI.2. Select Model 1:
face_yolov8s.pt
(or
face_yolov8n.pt
).3. Set Denoising strength:
0.30 - 0.33
(keep it low so it sharpens eyes and lips without altering the face shape).4. Leave the ADetailer prompt blank (or add your character's eye/hair color).---
