Nyx Character LoRA for MOSS Image

Nyx is a MOSS Image character LoRA for one fictional adult woman. The trigger is
nyxblk
. She is the next character I trained and decided to publish, on the same terms as the others. I have run plenty of experiments with this model before this release. Constructive feedback is welcome. I would rather hear what breaks than guess at it.

Nyx is early twenties. Clearly an adult. Very deep almost black skin that appears nearly ebony, a soft oval face with refined proportions, high cheekbones, intense dark brown eyes, and fuller lips. The signature hair is long black box braids with alternating purple and silver metallic beads. Bare ears by default. No tattoos unless you add one for that frame. A flat trained stomach, and an overall slim athletic build.

The face identity holds across different checkpoints built on the MOSS Image base. I have swapped checkpoints and the face still reads as Nyx. The same is true for hairstyles, poses, and makeup. You can change the braids for a bob, a pixie, an updo, or almost anything else, and the face stays. Name the new hair, the pose, and the makeup in the prompt. The exchange works cleanly in my tests.

The useful part is how little she argues with the rest of the prompt. Fashion, plain photographs, night scenes, and odd setups all take the same token. Clothes, crop, place, and light are yours. Leave the identity essay out at normal weight. The LoRA already carries the face, the skin, the braids, and the beads.

Drop the weight to about 0.5 to 0.6 and the signatures loosen further. At that range almost any hairstyle sits without fighting the face. If you leave the hair unnamed, the braids will try to come back. The sweet spot according to my own tests is around 0.7.

She combines cleanly with a wide range of styles and techniques. Art-style LoRAs have behaved in my tests. Drop the weight if the face goes waxy or the braids swallow the frame. Go above 1 only when another LoRA is loud enough to wash her out. A strong style or concept LoRA can eat the cheekbones and the skin if Nyx stays at 1.0 beside it. In that case raise her, and cut the competing style words out of the prompt so the weights do the arguing.

Other character LoRAs work the same way, with one extra rule. Lower each character. Two faces at full weight will smear. I have had clean pairs with each character around 0.5 to 0.7, sometimes lower if one LoRA is loud. Do not expect either face to stay perfect at 1.0 beside another trigger. Give her something in the scene to look at, unless you specifically want the lens.

For MOSS Image, start the prompt with the photorealism tags when you want a photograph, then
nyxblk
, then the visible slice. At normal weight the trigger carries the identity. Write only what the crop shows.

Working start

Photorealistic photograph, realistic photo, high resolution photograph, shot on a full-frame camera, natural skin texture, nyxblk, long black box braids with alternating purple and silver metallic beads, calm inviting slight smile with lips gently closed, looking past the lens at a small mark on the wall, soft frontal studio light falling evenly across the face, bright on both cheekbones, gentle shadow under the chin
