An AI detail generator has also been added (please use with caution). The first launch may take some time; in "Expert" mode, you can select a generator model (3–8 GB), which the node will then download automatically. Subsequent launches will be much faster. Please note that when the AI is enabled, the model processes every single frame—depending on the resolution and duration, this can be a time-consuming process. Then something feels off. You can't say what: the picture is sharp, the colours are fine, the resolution is high. But the brain keeps whispering "this is generated".It's not you. It's how vision works.🧠 Why it happensThe eye doesn't read pixels. The brain builds the picture from a few anchors: the eyes, the edge of a face, the edges of objects, the skeleton of shadows. Real footage keeps those anchors still and lets everything else live.AI video does the opposite: textures boil and crawl, eyes and face contours jitter from frame to frame, shadows are flat, colour leaks across borders. Each frame looks fine on its own. Together they tire the eye, and the illusion breaks.🔍 Why upscalers don't fix itUpscalers and "enhancers" add MORE detail. But the problem was never a lack of detail. It's detail that won't stay still. More of it means more boiling, more plastic skin, and a picture that looks "processed".✨ What Perception Relay doesIt invents nothing. Not a single pixel of new detail, no upscale. It removes what disturbs the brain and lets the brain do the rest:• Texture stops crawling, and honest motion stays untouched• Eyes and face edge become steady anchors the eye can trust• Shadows get depth and volume, and the picture gains weight• Colour stays inside its borders: no halos, no razor edges• Brightness stops "breathing"And the picture gets SHARPER. Not the way an upscaler does it. We add no detail: the eye reads sharpness where an edge holds still and its border is clean. Edges stop jittering, transitions get thinner, and the brain sees a crispness nobody painted into the pixels. No halos, no plastic, no oversharpening. The viewer stops noticing the generation and starts watching the scene.🎛 You see every change liveNo guessing, no waiting for renders. Move a slider and see the frame in a fraction of a second, up to 2K. Before/after split, a full-resolution magnifier, and a one-second loop that catches the shimmer a still image hides.👥 Who it's forAnyone making AI video (MiniMax, Hunyuan, LTX, Wan, Kling and others) who wants it to feel like footage, not like a generation.Runs on a normal home PC: 12–16 GB VRAM. Nodes in English and Russian.🤝 Help build the presetsThis is an ALPHA. After every run you get a small report with your settings: no paths, no file names, no video. Send it to me with your rating, and together we'll build presets for every kind of scene.📦 Install: unzip into ComfyUI/custom_nodes, restart ComfyUI, drag workflows/perception_relay_pult.json onto the canvas.
