Signature Style Elements

1. The Serene Light

Not harsh sunlight. Think golden hour, soft overcast, dawn mist, or candlelit interiors. Everything glows warmly.

2. Water as a Mirror

Canals, flooded squares, and puddles reflect architecture and figures with perfect distortion — creating a dreamlike double world.

3. Fog as Atmosphere

Lagoon fog softens edges, adds depth, and gives every scene an air of melancholic beauty and timeless pause.

4. Opulent Decay

Faded frescoes, weathered stone, mossy steps, and worn marble tell the story of centuries — romantic, not rundown.

5. The Carnival Spirit

Elegance and mystery — masked figures, elaborate gowns, tricorn hats, and shimmering chandeliers dominate festive scenes.

6. Venetian Architectural Grammar

Gothic pointed arches, Byzantine mosaics, Renaissance loggias, and Palladian symmetry — all rendered with historical fidelity.

Prompting Tips for Best Results

✅ Do This:

Start with (Venice the Most Serene:1.2) — this anchors the entire painterly-historical style.
Add specific trigger words for exact concepts: Carnival, Doge, Plague Doctor, High Tide, etc.
Specify surfaces — wet cobblestones, marble reflections, glassy canal, damp Istrian stone.
Use atmospheric cues — lagoon fog, misty atmosphere, golden hour glow, volumetric candlelight.
Keep colours muted — terracotta, burnt sienna, deep teal, pale gold, cool grey.
Specify time of day — dawn, dusk, overcast, blue hour, candlelit evening.
Mention historical references — 18th century, Canaletto style, Venetian Renaissance.
Include film/texture references — Kodak Vision3, anamorphic lens, painterly grain.

❌ Avoid:

Bright, harsh sunlight or vibrant saturated colours.
Modern elements — cars, motorboats, phone, glasses, contemporary clothes.
Overcrowded tourist scenes (unless specifying Carnival chaos).
Happy, smiling expressions (maintain a melancholic, mysterious, or noble mood).
Forgetting to specify surface type for reflections.

What This LoRA Does NOT Excel At

❌ Bright sunny beach scenes — this is a misty, golden-hour, overcast aesthetic
❌ Modern Venice — no cruise ships, no contemporary fashion
❌ Fast action or chaotic crowds — serenity is the key; Carnival is festive but refined
❌ Anime or fully stylised illustration — it leans painterly/realistic
❌ Extreme weather — rain is gentle, fog is soft, not storms
❌ Overly vibrant/saturated palettes — desaturated with warm accents is the DNA

Limitations & Notes for Krea 2

⚠️ Faces with masks work best — for unmasked figures, use from behind, silhouette, or distant figure to avoid expression issues; or be explicit with noble expression, serene gaze, half-lidded eyes.

⚠️ Murano glass works brilliantly — but specify lighting (e.g., backlit, candlelit) to enhance translucency.

⚠️ Fog intensity — control with light mist, dense fog, or lagoon haze as needed.

⚠️ Reflection quality — always specify the surface (glassy canal, wet marble, puddle reflection) to guide water rendering.

⚠️ Costume details — be specific: velvet, silk, brocade, lace, gold embroidery for best texture fidelity.
