Trigger Words. Primary Trigger String

text

(Lighting:1.1), cinematic lighting, dramatic shadows, volumetric light, neon glow, golden hour, chiaroscuro, softbox, rim light, backlight, god rays, spotlight, caustics, moonlight, firelight, LED strips, noir, lens flare, dust motes, wet reflections, high contrast

Usage: Place this entire string at the beginning of your prompt. The (Lighting:1.1) at the start acts as a weighted primary trigger — it tells Krea 2 to give the lighting aesthetic a 10% boost in influence over the rest of the prompt.

Prompting Tips for Best Results

✅ Do This:

Start with (Lighting:1.1) for strongest style adherence
Include the full trigger string to activate all lighting elements
Specify the light source — softbox, rim light, backlight, neon, firelight, etc.
Define the surface — wet asphalt, polished wood, rain-streaked glass
Choose a focal subject — keep to 1–3 elements for maximum atmosphere
Use lighting-specific terms — volumetric, caustics, halation, chiaroscuro
Mention atmospheric effects — dust motes, fog, haze, god rays
Request cinematic depth — shallow depth of field, anamorphic, film grain
Add film stock references — Kodak Vision3 5219, Portra 400, Cinestill 800T

❌ Avoid:

Flat, even lighting without contrast
Overexposed or underexposed images without purpose
Modern, casual, or bright cheerful scenes (unless intended)
Crowded, chaotic scenes without a clear focal point
Forgetting to specify surface types for reflections
Overloading with too many subjects — keep it focused
Using the trigger string at the end of the prompt (always at the beginning)

What This LoRA Excels At

✅ Volumetric lighting – visible beams, god rays, atmospheric depth
✅ Neon & cyberpunk – vibrant urban night light, wet reflections
✅ Golden hour – warm, soft, romantic sunlight
✅ Chiaroscuro – extreme light/dark contrast, painterly
✅ Studio lighting – softbox, rim light, backlight, spotlight
✅ Caustics – light patterns through glass and water
✅ Firelight & candlelight – warm, flickering, intimate glow
✅ Moonlight – cool, blue, nocturnal atmosphere
✅ Noir – high contrast, shadow-drenched mystery
✅ Lens flare – anamorphic streaks, optical imperfections
✅ Dust motes – floating particles in light beams
✅ Wet reflections – rain-slicked streets, puddles, glossy surfaces
✅ High contrast – punchy, dramatic, graphic lighting
✅ LED strips – modern, cool-toned linear illumination
✅ Cinematic mood – film-like, immersive, dramatic

What This LoRA Does NOT Excel At

❌ Flat, even lighting – this LoRA thrives on contrast and drama
❌ Bright, cheerful, comedy scenes – it prefers moody, cinematic atmospheres
❌ Modern or futuristic technology – unless combined with neon/LED lighting
❌ High-action, dynamic combat – it prefers stillness and atmospheric focus
❌ Overly crowded street markets – without atmospheric fog or lighting
❌ Cartoon, anime, or stylized illustration – keep it photographic/painterly
❌ Extreme weather – it does atmospheric rain and fog, not chaos
❌ Purely naturalistic scenes – without any architectural or humanistic elements
❌ Casual, modern attire – this is about light, not fashion

Limitations & Notes for Krea 2

⚠️ Color balance can shift – if results look too warm or too cool, add specific color modifiers (e.g., cool blue tones, warm amber glow).

⚠️ Complex scenes with more than 3 subjects may dilute the lighting focus — prioritize 1–2 figures for maximum cinematic depth.

⚠️ Fog intensity can be controlled with: light mist, thick fog, volumetric haze, dense atmospheric gloom.

⚠️ Surface detail is key – always specify wet, polished, aged, weathered, or ornate.

⚠️ The negative prompt is essential – always exclude flat lighting, overexposed, underexposed, low contrast to maintain the signature aesthetic.

⚠️ (Lighting:1.1) should always be at the very beginning of your prompt for maximum effect — moving it elsewhere reduces its influence.

⚠️ Facial expressions can lean towards neutral or stern — use specific emotional descriptors (e.g., melancholic, wistful, intense, serene) or place figures in silhouette/distance for best effect.

Credits & Philosophy

V67 Lighting celebrates the art of illumination — where light becomes the subject, where shadows tell stories, and where every beam, flare, and reflection adds depth and emotion. Inspired by:

Cinematographers – Roger Deakins, Emmanuel Lubezki, Vittorio Storaro
Painters – Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Johannes Vermeer
Photographers – Ansel Adams, Gregory Crewdson, Fan Ho
Film noir – The Third Man, Blade Runner, Sin City
