    - Pickups & Bustles -

This is the first release in what will be a series of LoRA trainer to bring out the finer details in your fashion creations.

This volume focuses on fabric pickups and bustling most commonly found in ball gowns, wedding dresses, skirts, costumes, evening/pageant gowns and historical attire. However, it can be found in other items, as well. Some of these include Drapery, tablecloths, theater backdrops, throw pillows, bed linens, hats and lingerie.

    • Pickups are a fabric manipulation technique where sections of fabric are gathered, lifted, or tucked at intervals to create a three-dimensional, textured design. This technique adds volume, dimension, and visual interest to a garment or textile.

    • Bustle (noun) A bustle is draped, gathered, or layered fabric in the back of a garment, designed to add texture and volume to formal dresses, especially wedding gowns. They add visual drama and helps accentuate the rear silhouette.

    • Bustle (verb) . Bustling is a tailoring technique used to lift the train of a wedding dress for easier movement during receptions.
