Well, in Germany we call it "Kartoffelbovist", which means potato bovist, a little better than horse shit ball, but puffball is still much nicer, huh? 😂
After ripening, the inside is powdery and can be sprinkled on the wound to stop bleeding,But I don't know if we're discussing the same fungus
@Mysterious_Man Interesting, but yeah, probably the same class of fungus, but not the exact same since we are a couple thousand miles apart I assume, hehe. The one here is poisonous, causes vomiting and hallucinations. I kinda doubt it does any good on a wound, but the wiki doesn't say. ^^
