Ooooh I gotta test this one, now that's fascinating! They do seem a bit too plasticky compared to the OG talking heads, but still look cool.
Yes, Flux give plastic skin. I have to improve this in next version.
I recommend saving a copy of your results as a low quality jpeg (here's the model's cover pic saved as a 20% quality jpeg). A surprising amount of the "feel" of the original style comes from just how compressed they were (goes for a lot of old game styles that aren't pixel art). Also, the originals were literally sculpted from clay, so you might also try using that as a detail in your prompt.
@NanashiAnon Wow it really does, well spotted! Still looks plasticky, but now it looks like an image from the 90s. The clay thing is a good idea, if I install FLUX one of these days I'm going to definitively try this out!
@NanashiAnon My original idea was to replicate the style but with better resolution without noise/artifacts.
Not sure how I missed this one when it was uploaded. Looks neat, and better than the Pony version I made (will compare to my Illustrious version out next week).
