Lore:

Lasika was born 12 years after the bloody civil war that split the continent of Feielia apart.

Her father, King Elric, established the kingdom of Lighthowls after becoming head of the Wolfspirit clan, which grew greater than the other canine clans. His doctrine—“hope for the best, prepare for the worst”—proved wise. Her mother, Queen Melita, was the sweetest woman who ever lived. She often took Lasika into the streets to help the poor. Lasika’s younger brother, Lucian, was shy under all the attention but always supportive, with a big smile and a playful side—sometimes hiding her tiara and teasing her, saying that without it, she wasn’t royal. Sibling love, right?

Childhood:

Her childhood wasn’t easy. Becoming queen sounded noble, but it came with hard work. Instead of playing outside like other children, Lasika had a tutor—Professor Aragorn.

He wasn’t a bad teacher, just a bit boring at times. Still, he taught her what she needed: royal etiquette, music, math, language and writing, history, and more.

Yet, she often longed to play in the castle garden, picking roses and feeling free.

Lasika was a bit of a bookworm, diving into books like into a pool of water, eager to study the world. From an early age, she loved music and nature, especially in spring, when life returned after winter and the snow melted.

Teens:

During her teens, she continued studying with Professor Aragorn. Lasika grew interested in the arts—beyond music, she explored dancing and poetry. Thankfully, her parents encouraged her to explore, rather than just preparing her to be queen. Her brother remained a prankster—once dumping a bowl of water on her as she left her bedroom in the morning. Still, they were great friends and always had each other’s backs. Learning to ride a horse was thrilling—it gave her freedom to explore farther. As heir to the throne, she was always guarded by two knights, just in case.

Adult:

In early adulthood, her parents wanted her to marry. They tried to find her a suitable mate, but after many attempts, Lasika stood up to them and said: “If you two don’t stop this, I might as well marry a woman.” They stayed quiet after that.

They gave her more responsibilities to prepare her for the throne. Later, her father led his army east to crush a rebellion—only to walk into a trap, part of a conspiracy against him. Worse, her younger brother went with him, but his body was never found. When news of the tragedy arrived, her mother declared a week of mourning. Soon after, grief overwhelmed her, and she fell ill. Lasika stayed by her side, aided by maids and doctors, but one morning, she found no pulse or heartbeat. She wept beside her mother’s bed all day—her world felt like a black hole. Though she still grieves, one question remains: if her brother’s body was never found, where is he? Could he still be alive? If so, she will find him.

Present:

On her 24th birthday, the day has come. Her father’s generals have ruled in her place until now. With her final notes written, Lasika takes her rightful place as queen. Will she rule with the heart of her parents, or will something unseen change her path?
