IMPORTANT: This is an extension for the base wildcards of Billions of Characters.
With YAML-files you just get 1 nice wildcard-file Instead of 100 files. They are easy readable (best with Notepadd++) and they are easy to maintain.
Don't forget to leave a ❤️ to get a notification for future updates. ⭐ reviews are appreciated, too. Let me see what you created with this tool. ;)
note: Yaml files will throw isseus when using: "a1111-sd-webui-tagcomplete"extension. That's related to the extension, not the wildcards.
Usage
Unleash the full power:
Activate: Dynamic Prompts->Advanced Options->Unlink seed from promptUsage is pretty much the same as for "regular" wildcards.
You need the SD Dynamic Prompt Extension. Put the files directly into the wildcard folder:
~\stable-diffusion-webui\extensions\sd-dynamic-prompts\wildcards They show up as a menu on the left in the Wildcards tab.
The YAML is structured and indented (that's how they work). Just with a little difference. You have to add the category layers in the wildcard.
Examples:
__BoCharsCyberpunk/female/classic__
__BoCharsCyberpunk/male/classic__A cool thing you can do, too, is using a wildcard "*" in the wildcards. So you could use the normal chararcter wildcards in the same prompt and get chars from both sets:
__BoChars*/female/classic__
__clothings*/female-attire__ # for clothings from all (installed) setsI made easy to use wildcards for character creations.
There are some wildcards that are not used for it. Have a look what's in there, too. You'll find a full list below. You can use each subcategory separately.
You are welcome
Leave a star review, if you like it. so other can find those awesome cards more easily.
I plan to add more themes as extensions in the future. SDXL is coming, and wildcards are limitless.
If you want to support me, feel free to buy me a coffee. ;)
Have experimenting with it.

I get a bunch of errors when launching A1111 after putting these into the wildcard folder. Each "extension" is put into it's own subfolder.
I'm guessing maybe it has issues with relative file/script paths?
just put them into the main wildcards folder, I think I had an error when I started, too. I had it in a subfolder then.
For regular wildcards the readme said, you have to include the folder structure, too, but that works without it. I think that's messing with your cards, when putting them into subfolders. I might include that in the description.
@DonMischo Seems likely! I've moved them to the root now.
Although tbh, it's a bit of an issue for my own workflow. I like to keep my root clean of downloaded prompts.
The root is for my own stuff, and subfolders for downloads.
But not a dealbreaker :)
@mnemic it might work, if they are in the same subfolder, I'll check on that
I think I have a similar issue when I start A1111 a bunch of errors show up like:
Issue with tags found in billions_of_characters.yaml at item BoChars
When using a basic prompt like:
2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, ({__clothings-magical/female-attire__})
I get those errors:
a1111\wildcards\clothings-magical/female-attire.txt not found for the clothings-magical/female-attire wildcard.
While I get those errors it does seem to work since because it does select clothes from the list I presume (they are at least in style). Except prompt output does not indicate which clothes are used:
2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, clothings-magical/female-attire
Tried both root/subfolders and same issue stays.
I have a mklink between the wildcard folder in a1111 root's directory and the extension directory.
@clanail765 try using it without brackets, maybe it's inpreting it as path to a textfile wildcard. The error suggests it. For the second, don't forget the __ in front and back
The link shouldn't pose an issue
@mnemic I can confirm, if you put them in a subfolder, e.g. yaml, the wildcard manager shows __yaml/****__ in front of all wildcards. This destroys the nesting ;( I think it can't be fixed in an easy way. You might need to bear with putting it into the root.
@DonMischo Thank you for the quick reply, without brackets it doesn't throw the "a1111\wildcards\clothings-magical/female-attire.txt not found for the clothings-magical/female-attire wildcard." error anymore.
Strangely it does come back when switching to a different wildcard and only once then so probably it properly loaded or auto ignores it after the first generation.
The prompt output after image generation however stays the same:
"2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, clothings-magical/female-attire"
It does not show which clothes are picked like you normally see with wildcards.
It isn't the biggest of issues because it does seem to be generating based on the wildcard selection.
@clanail765 hmm it has no __clothings-magical/female-attire__ underscores, if a wildcard wasn't found in testing it kept the _ in the promtp. You'll need the magic wildcards for it, too, just in case you only downloaded the cyberpunk cards
@DonMischo Sorry yeah I downloaded all the wildcards you uploaded here and placed the .yaml files in the root so I was testing with the multiple different ones. They all do the same they work during image generation since outfits are selected from them. It just doesn't name them in the output.
This is the prompt for wildcards with .txt:
"2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting, 1girl, __ccsWildcards_v11/CC_female_clothing_set_informal__"
Outputs: "2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting, 1girl, Chevron tunic and leggings"
Think it might just be something specific in my setup then
@clanail765 have you tried simply using: __clothings-magical/female-attire__ ?
@DonMischo Do u mean just the wildcard syntax without anything else like so input prompt only with : __clothings-magical/female-attire__
Or input prompt as:
2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, __clothings-magical/female-attire__
^This one I already tried and that results into an image with the output prompt that is the same but without _:
2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, clothings-magical/female-attire
@clanail765 Hmm that's strange, have you checked the Wildcards manager? Hit the refresh button and see, if there's an error in the command window. The 2nd prompt is correct. It could be the mklink. Try putting them directly into the sd-dynamic-prompts/wildcards folder. Maybe hit me up on Discord
@DonMischo Tried it directly as well without success. I decided to do a reinstall fully of A1111 and now it is working.
I still get spammed on loading with a bunch of tag issues errors:
Issue with tags found in billions_of_characters.yaml at item BoChars
Issue with tags found in billions_of_characters.yaml at item clothings
But wildcards are working at least:
2d, masterpiece, best quality, anime, highly detailed face, highly detailed background, perfect lighting,1girl, female Artificial Intelligence specialist, , Eighteen, Well-defined, Afro-Caribbean, Amber eyes, Office/work makeup , Grey Curtain bangs hair, Laugh, Exuding an air of grace and respect while engaging with extraterrestrial beings., wearing Nylon CoralOrange Brocade Nano-fiber Athletic Skirt, Electromesh Hoodie, Holographic Combat Boots, , and and, Holding or channeling glowing energy orbs or constructs.
