Famke Beumer Janssen, born on November 5, 1964, in Amstelveen, Netherlands, is a Dutch actress and former model. She gained international fame for her role as Xenia Onatopp in the James Bond film "GoldenEye" (1995) and as Jean Grey / Phoenix in the "X-Men" film series (2000–2014). Janssen has also starred in the "Taken" film trilogy (2008–2014) and the Netflix series "Hemlock Grove" (2013–2015). In addition to her acting career, she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for Integrity by the United Nations in 2008. Janssen made her directorial debut with "Bringing Up Bobby" in 2011.
