Jessica Simpson, born Jessica Ann Simpson on July 10, 1980, in Abilene, Texas, is an American singer, actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman. She first gained fame with her debut studio album Sweet Kisses (1999), which sold two million copies in the United States and featured the hit single "I Wanna Love You Forever". Simpson's career expanded into reality television with the MTV series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica (2003–2005), which she starred in with her then-husband Nick Lachey.
