This is a merge between some illustrious models i like.

Personally i like to use DMD2 (4-Step) Lora for speedy generation, so i baked it into the model with version 3.

    Settings

    Version 3 - DMD2

    • Make sure to only use 4-8 Steps

    • LCM Sampling

    • CFG Scale 1-1.5

    • You can play with Schedulers, but Karras or Align Your Steps works best

    Version 1 and 2

For non DMD Version (1 and 2) use any Settings you like:

    CFG: around 4-5

Sampling: Euler a or 2M SDE

    Scheduler: SGM Uniform

    15 steps +

    Description

Merged with some more Loras and Checkpoints i like, giving it a slightly more realistic look?

    == Version 3.x is a DMD2 Checkpoint ==

    • Make sure to only use 4-12 Steps

    • LCM Sampling

    • CFG Scale 1-1.5

    • You can play with Schedulers, i prefer Align Your Steps

I really like v3.1. It has very good colors, very good contrast, and fairly prompt understanding. I enjoy generating images with it. It's very fast and still produces high-quality, semi-realistic images. With a realism slider, you can increase the realism a bit if you want. You can generate Pics with 1280x1536 with mostly no Problems.

cool, glad you like it. I mostly use dmd2 these days, quick, lightweight and good enough for my usecases

doombatz it is so much fun to generate and many things out of the Box, without a Lora, that i like very much and I have many fetishes :)

Great model and showcase images! But do you see the weird lines at the bottom and right side of many of your showcase images? It is especially prominent in your vault girl image but you can also find them in most of your other generations. This is caused by using resolutions that aren't dividable by 32. If you use one of the following resolutions instead, this can easily be avoided:
    1024x1024 (square)
    1056x992
    1088x960
    1120x928
    1152x896
    1184x864 (my personal favorite)
    1248x832
    1280x800
    1344x768 (close to 16:9)
    1408x736
    1472x704
    1536x672
    1632x640
    1696x608
    ...

Those are all resolutions where both numbers are dividable by 32 and their product is close to (but below) 1024^2=1,048,576, which is the native resolution of SDXL, NoobAI and ILXL v0.1. If you go above that, you can get deformations. ILXL v1.0 increased the native resolution to 1536x1536, but most Illustrious models are still built on ILXL v0.1 instead.

cool thanks, i don't pay much attention to those details. But i was wondering about those before, i wish forge had a prefilled dropdown for those ratios

1280 x 1536 works very well, i like this size

    lizardon1024Jul 26, 2025· 1 reaction

Gorean You won't get weird lines at the edges since both numbers are dividable by 32, but the total number of pixels is 87.5% higher than 1024x1024. So depending on the model, you will more often encounter deformations and errors in your images. Therefore I rather use tiled upscaling (with each tile still being 1 megapixel in size) to increase the resolution above the usual 1 megapixel. In principle you can increase the resolution with tiled upscaling to any value you want, but the computations will take longer and longer. I usually upscale my generations to about 9 megapixel, which for me is a good balance of quality and time.

lizardon1024 I know what you mean and normaly i do so, but this model dont need it, you can use out of the Box 1280x1536 without more deformations. This is incredible and one of the many reasons why I like this checkpoint so much. I tryed to use bigger, there it starts with 3 Legs, 2 Heads, 4 Hands etc. But 1280x1536 with this checkpoint works very well for me. All my latest pictures you see below are 1280 x 1536 without Lora (except petplay and ball gag) or upscale, only facedetailer but i didnt test without facedetailer. Maybe it work without to.

Gorean It doesn't have to lead to deformations but in your latest examples there are clearly images that have deformations which are probably caused by your increased resolution like this and this. The torso is elongated and the hands and feet are weirdly deformed. This might be in part caused by the LoRA, but torso elongation is the most common problem of using a resolution that is too high.
