    Robert Sean Leonard, born Robert Lawrence Leonard on February 28, 1969, in Westwood, New Jersey, is an American actor known for his versatile performances in film, television, and theater. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Neil Perry in the 1989 film "Dead Poets Society" and as Dr. James Wilson on the medical drama series "House" from 2004 to 2012. Leonard is also a prolific stage actor, having won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in "The Invention of Love" in 2001.
