Ronda Rousey is an American former mixed martial artist and professional wrestler. Ronda Rousey is considered one of the pioneers of women's MMA and played a significant role in bringing women's fighting to the mainstream. She had a successful career in judo before transitioning to MMA. Rousey was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo when she won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. After her successful MMA career, Ronda Rousey transitioned to professional wrestling and signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She had a high-profile stint with WWE, where she became the Raw Women's Champion and had several memorable matches and storylines.
