Manticore is a custom merge I produced to more accurately recreate traditional styles such as watercolors, sketches, and oil painting.
This model functions very similarly the base NoobAI XL V-pred model, so please follow this guide to get started.
All loras and tags that function on Noob/Illustrious should function just fine.
This model will produce beautiful images of both furry and anime content.
I would personally recommend Euler A sampler with 24-32 steps + normal / SGM uniform scheduler

I use A1111 and I only get something that looks like noise or static instead of a proper image. This problem appears ONLY with NoobAI checkpoints. Is there some setting that I should tweak?
I've noticed this when using samplers hat the checkpoint doesn't appear to like. I had this problem yesterday and just about every sampler I tried EXCEPT for Euler A did the same thing. I also noticed certain keywords that the checkpoint doesn't like can cause the same issue. Otherwise, it's most likely a VAE problem. Edit I run updated forge, so I always forget A1111 doesn't run vpred properly without updating. Do that first.
this is a V-pred model. A1111 only supports V-pred XL models on the dev branch. You'll either have to switch to the dev branch or use another GUI like RE/Forge or ComfyUI

I have problems with this checkpoint after upscaling. After upscaling, the picture has little in common with the original even with minimal denoise, and there are a lot of deformations and artifacts.
can you post a screenshot of your workflow or something? This doesn't really provide a lot of info to go off to help troubleshoot
