20250419 V4, As the character skin in version V3 is too shiny, the character skin performance has been adjusted. The characters appear more realistic when they are wet.
And improve the character performance, make it more mature, and make the movements more natural.

It can reduce the European and American style and Korean style of the characters' appearance.
And you can use Pony PDXL Negative Embeddings to reduce the complexity of prompt (and there is no need to add levels score_9, score_8_up).

Help! I used the exact same parameters as in the example image, but the generated image is all noisy and cannot be refined.
I'm using Webui v1.10.1; clip skip set to 1; Sampler: Euler; 30 steps; res 1024*1024.
Illustrious is one base model of SDXL.
You need SDXL VAE, like sdxl_vae-fp16.pt.
@springshsiao350 I've tried it, it doesn't work. And if it's because of a missing VAE, the image will only be colored incorrectly. Right now I'm generating a blurry image full of large grainy color spots, which hasn't happened with other Illustrious checkpoints, and after trying to do model merge in Webui, the same thing happens with the merged model. I have checked the MD5 and ruled out a file error during download.
@Lichking I'm sorry, I'm able to work fine here. The version I use is stable-diffusion-webui-forge: de1670a & comfyui v0.3.14. All work fine. I can't troubleshoot your problem. I'm sorry again.

I think NoobAI-XL (NAI-XL) - V-Pred is the source of Illustrious.
@springshsiao350 and that's the cause, I installed webui forge version, then it worked just fine. this is a one hell of a great checkpoint! I like the face style very much.
also, it would be helped if mentioning this checkpoint is v-pred in description, there are still many using the old version of webui
